Licensing Engineer - Fresh graduates (UAE Nationals only) Site based - ENEC


To assist with licensing and regulatory affairs activities and tasks for the construction and operation of ENEC's power plants so that regulatory requirements are met and approvals are obtained from FANR in a timely and efficient manner.







Maintain licenses and permits



Responsibility:



• Assists the senior members of the Licensing staff in maintaining operating Licenses and permits (mainly FSAR). Assists in preparation of licensing documentation so that all technical and regulatory requirements are met.



• Assists the senior members of the Licensing staff in preparing licensing applications by interpreting the safety information (technical input) into comprehensive licensing documents so that all applicable regulatory and technical requirements are met.



• Reviews regulatory topics to assist in proposing regulatory strategies to resolve regulatory issues associated with operating licenses or license applications. This is to meet the technical and regulatory requirements so licenses are maintained or obtained efficiently.



• Assists preparation and submittal of responses to regulator requests for additional information.







Develop licensing documents



Responsibility:



• Supports preparation and communication of licensing/compliance documents (reports, responses to questions, presentations etc) that meet all requirements and achieves the desired outcome.



• Supports preparation and submittal of licensing documents in a timely manner and in accordance with procedures and processes.



• Performs review and prepares presentations to address topics of interest with FANR that meet requirements.







Provide Licensing Support



Responsibility:



• Assists with the preparation of Nawah regulatory processes and procedures for use by in carrying out the licensing function.



• Supports inspections by the regulator by reviewing potential issues, participating in self-assessments and facilitating inspections by active interface with inspectors.



• Assists in resolving regulatory issues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements



• Reviews draft regulations and review industry operating experience to identify emerging regulatory issues. Assists with the development of regulatory strategies for addressing emerging regulatory issues.











Please Note:



Barakah is (near to the town of Ruwais, Western Region) around 3 hours from the city of Abu Dhabi, along with it they have also built a large residential community for their staff calling it the “ENEC Village”.







This consists of individual accommodations for each staff - separate for men and women, Olympic size swimming pool, squash, tennis and basketball courts, an auditorium, huge canteen with 5 star hotel food catering, separate gyms for men and women, 4-5 virtual golf ranges and a social center.







The working days on the Barakah site are from Sunday to Wednesday (with a 3 days long weekend).
