HIGHER EDUCATION COUNSELOR



Summary



The Counselor, working from a holistic developmental framework, assists students with mental, emotional and behavioral health matters as they relate to their academic success. The Counselor’s efforts are primarily focused on providing brief, solution - oriented personal counseling, as appropriate, so as to enhance students’ ability to properly address their concerns and proceed successfully in their college studies. Provides lead throughout the institution for matters related to education pathway of students who intend to study overseas



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



• Provides individual and small group personal counseling



• Provides information and assists students in the development of decision making in choosing higher education path such as : academic concerns, personal issues, education pathway, transfer planning, career planning, and personal adjustment relative to the college experience



• Provides information of any development information (updates) related to registration to higher education such as : requirement, admission process, to - do and not to - do, and updates.



• Follow up and keep updated to student registry process, counseling - registration - entry - afterwards



• Performs other duties as may be assigned

BASIC FUNCTION/ JOB PURPOSE



As a senior member of Leadership Team who has accountability to manage the Supply Chain which includes procurement, inbound logistics, outbound logistics and planning teams. Accountability for the smooth operation of the departments outlined above including managing paper supply/buying. Responsible for procurement of all the raw materials, Engineering spares, consumables, Capital goods, Annual rate and service contracts, IT hardware, stationery and consumables, etc. Has responsibility for inbound and, outbound logistics, warehousing and production planning. This includes but not limited to managing, transport costs, warehouse costs, people management and associated cost management, trim, transport and stripping paper waste, OTIF and safety objectives. Develop and establish policies and procedures for the Departments and implement best practices. Ensure continued people development and meet Saudization allocation. To be a key member of Company’s Senior Leadership Team advising on Supply chain / logistic matters.







PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ MAIN DUTIES



• Manage team performance and goals and ensure teams meet business operational expectations and performance standards. Plan and supervise the workflow to ensure the best practice in Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning Logistics processes. Encourage and solicit input from staff and ensure their suggestions and concerns are addressed. Monitor and evaluate supply chain employees in terms of performance, delivery of objectives and supporting their development



• Manage paper supply chain, negotiation, buying, and transportation and warehousing of paper process, monitor inventory and cost management within agreed objectives and budget.



• Analyze business requirements and design solutions in the area of Purchase department. Oversee purchases, maintenance and service contract negotiations. Manage testing and implementation of products to ensure seamless integration and minimize loss of production. Prioritize requests from internal customers and ensure they are handled efficiently.



• Monitor and ensure safe work practice/workplace.



• Monitor as well as control procurement, logistics and operational costs to be with agreed budget.



• Drive a continuous improvement culture, (a) Developing people, (b) Supporting operational excellence, (c) Improving efficiency, (d) Improving the quality of service (e) Improving OTIF, (f) reduce cost of supply chain and (g) Reducing waste.



• Ensure the implementation of logistics fundamentals i.e. warehousing, distribution operations /transportation and replenishment. Lead the logistics team into achieving assigned target on a daily, weekly & monthly basis.

Sales Coordinator - Manpower Middle East


A leading global company specialized in electronics is urgently seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the company in attaining the monthly and annual targets.



This role is instrumental in assuring focused and productive communication with new and existing clients, authorized distributors and agents.



You will be required to respond to customer order related inquires and ensure customer satisfaction.



This role is responsible for various kinds of administrative functions essential for everyday operation of the system / processes and fulfillment of the orders.







Main Duties







Manage day to day functions providing support to colleagues, assist in resolving issues, escalating matters appropriately



• Providing sales and administrative support involving efficient and confidential handling of data.



• Provide an important link between Sales and the client.



• Good all-round administrative abilities, including a working knowledge of spreadsheets.



• Sales order processing and processing all sales-related paperwork.



• Tracking process from order to delivery to ensure that all is happening with estimated time frames and informing the client each step of the way.



• Checking dispatch documentation and dealing with customer inquiries.



• Monitor and flag poor performance of key accounts against sales targets and forecasts and initiate corrective action with Account Manager.



• Updating the status of sales order in SAP.



• Maintaining an efficient work environment.



• Follow up with Customer and Finance department on the status of “Accounts Receivable” accounts and on any corrective action necessary to maintain sales and minimize bad debts.



• Supporting Sales Companies with intercompany processes.

Job/Position Main Scope



Reporting to the Marketing Manager the key focus of this role is to create and update all marketing and communications as and when required.







The Graphic & Web designer will own all Creative Branding (Print & Digital), CRM & Social Media, Website development & design







Some key responsibilities include but are not limited to



• To own the functionality of the current website, and it’s functions.



• Responsible for the graphical design and format of company documents and literature to include company handbooks, booklets, business cards, flyers.



• Regular auditing of online presence, ensuring websites, blogs and online communications are effective and functioning to their fullest potential.



• Design and create templates for all marketing collateral, develop libraries for all.

Head of Sales Food Solutions Oman - Manpower Middle East


An International Food Manufacturing company is seeking to recruit for a Head of Sales to be based in Muscat-Oman. This position will be directly reporting to the Food Solutions General Manager







PURPOSE OF ROLE



To provide leadership to the Food Solutions sales team, implement our sales strategy for the Food Solutions sector, and driving sales and volume growth through managing existing key accounts and developing profitable new sales in new and existing markets and geographical areas.







REPORTING AND KEY RELATIONSHIPS



This role will report directly into the Food Solutions General Manager and have a dotted reporting line into the Sales and Marketing Director.







The Sales Managers and Key Account Manager for Franchisees will report to this role, together with the Sales Manager(s).







The number of indirect reports will be 3 - 12, including Territory Sales Managers, Territory and Key Account Managers for Franchisees, and Application Chefs.

Achievement of Sales Targets



• Grow sales volumes and market share of products the company is aspiring to develop, and attains country and market sector sales targets.



• Sets stretching but deliverable sales targets for the team, and motivates and manages the team to achieve these targets.







Franchise Key Account Management



• To implement successful sales strategies that develop new profitable sales volume with existing accounts.



• To take the lead and be a key contact to the top Food Solutions accounts and manage the large distributors in this sector in order to best serve the franchise.



• Facilitate alliances between franchisor and franchisee to drive mutual profitable growth.



• To be aware of customer service levels, Complaints per Million Units (CPMUs) and assist in ensuring the company consistently achieves its targets.



• To foster cross functional communications with the CRM, Quality, and manufacturing teams, particularly with new customers and during NPD launches, to ensure the smooth delivery of our products.



• To meet regularly with our major customers and distributors, and attain customer feedback and insights into the market.







Sales Forecasting



• Develop and manage accurate sales forecasting methods and reporting.







Market ‘Pull’ & Market ‘Push’



• Ensure promotional activities are cost effective, focussed and successfully executed to maximise sales growth and brand awareness.



• Manage our distributors’ promotional activities to enable the business to develop sales volumes.



• To sponsor the sampling, demonstration and other promotional activities in franchisees to create a market ‘pull’ for our products.



• Promote new food applications and recipes to drive sales and create a demand for our products. NPD



• To support the development of NPD, and to support the launch and establishment of new products in the market place.



• To use NPD to facilitate contact with the local chains and drive sales.







People Leadership & Development



• Lead, develop, inspire and motivate direct reports to attain sales targets, and drive an upward improvements in the team’s skills and performance.



• In conjunction with the Head of Sales for Brands and Commodities, develop, lead and manage events and mechanisms that recognise, reward and motivate high achievers in the sales team.



• Build effective team and cross functional team working relationships, particularly with the Business Development Manager, and Marketing, Quality, CRM and manufacturing teams.
