Product Manager - AWRostamani Group
• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going contact with customers and non-customers.
• Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the field force is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors’ products.
• Link key business data to generate new insights & solve key issues: provide input to marketing (campaigns), product improvements and business strategy.
• Responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of key product related business initiatives and strategies, for both customers and business units.
• Responsible for the development & optimization of the automotive infrastructure: from having the best data (base) to make sure that the right product campaign management tool is being build.
• Gather and consolidate data relevant to the new capabilities / projects and create feasibility analysis.
• Analyze financial and non-financial data; prepare executive summaries and presentations required for executives’ internal discussions and external PR communications.
• Liaise with the advertising agency regarding the promotional campaign including all advertising channels, events and conferences.
• To determine the optimum product strategy and line-up for all relevant models, both current and future, to maximize sales and profit margin potential within the market.
• To define the product specification and mix for all products and communicate this to internal staff, field force, branches, regional brand office/product managers and relevant agencies.
• To recommend product and price positioning for all relevant products.
• To regularly assess relevant products: pricing, specification and offers against competitor performance and formulate responses and counter measures as required.
• To work with ordering to ensure product mix and supply meets agreed product objectives.
• With departmental support staff, manage local new product launch campaigns for relevant products.
• Communicate product changes internally & externally promptly & appropriately
• Check promotional materials for product accuracy and brand guideline compliance for all relevant products.
• Work in coordination with the training department to develop product training courses for sales staff.
• With departmental support staff and PR agency promote relevant products and activities in the media.
• Coordinate with the GM, Marketing to define the marketing plan for the year for all relevant models.
• Other related tasks as required
