The Position: Responsibility for the operation of a mixed real estate portfolio within a leading compound encompassing; Prime Commercial Area, Golf course, Residential areas, & Hotels.



JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES :



CUSTOMER SERVICE



- Ensures that resident concerns are appropriately addressed in a timely manner.



-Ensures that the site staff is providing great customer service to residents/tenants.



- Ensures that the site staff is working closely and effectively with resident Services and/or third party service agencies to meet the ownership’s service objectives at each location.



- Stakeholders Management.



- CSR & community involvement.



PROPERTY STANDARDS



- Ensures that all regulatory compliance requirements and reporting are followed, monitored, and completed.



- Ensures that physical guidelines are achieved at each property, in accordance with expectations of ownership and/or Operational Excellence.



- Ensures the adherence to the preventative maintenance schedule established for each property & Quality Assurance procedures.



WORK ENVIRONMENT



- Ensures that property staff positions are filled with competent, qualified individuals.



- Ensures that positive, collaborative internal and external relationships are fostered and maintained and that requests are responded to in a timely manner.



- Ensures that site employees receive/participate in necessary educational requirements.



- Ensures understanding and effective use of property management and accounting software, instructing staff on proper usage, as necessary.



FINANCIAL RESULTS



- Ensures that revenue targets and collection procedures are followed and benchmarks are achieved.



- Ensures that occupancy levels are at budgeted levels and higher, if possible.



- Ensures that property budgets are developed and managed proactively.



- Ensures that contracts are regularly reviewed and negotiated.

Procurement Manager - ALJERIC


A Procurement Manager will be required to assist the Project team on a large Hospitality project within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Will have an extensive Procurement and purchasing construction background, and will be familiar with all aspects of the construction integration process.







The Procurement manager will understand the sequencing of the projects life cycle, understanding the specific procurement / buyout requirements of each phase of the project and each critical item as the construction process evolves.







The Procurement Manager will participate in defining and developing the scope of procurement work, and in preparing and coordinating procurement plans, procedures, schedules, estimates, forecasts and budgets.







The role will require the development of material assignments, including the delegation and assignment of responsibility, will develop and manage the Procurement execution plan to align with the engineering, construction plan, and operation plans.







The procurement manager will have strong negotiating skills, understand the logistics and shipping requirements of the region, and the applicable laws and requirements as it pertains to individual components of the project. The role will also expect a clear understanding of the correct certification and local government’s approval as the project progresses and will demonstrate a clear understanding of the designer’s equipment, systems, and operational requirements as shown in the construction documents.



The Procurement manager will serve as point of contact between the Project management team, venders and suppliers, including some external service providers. Assists in the information and advises the project team for owner/client meetings to ensure that the senior management can make timely and effective decisions, with accurate project information to inform the team.







KEY RESPONSIBILITIES







• Assisting the project management & commercial team on procurement/buyout of items



• Aids in creating and implementing project work plans, revising plans & details based on procurement project requirements.



• Actively involved in the selection, and submittal process of components.



• Communicates clearly the sequential process for key items during the construction phase.

MEP Manager - ALJERIC


A Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Manager (MEP) will be required to assist the Project team on a large Hospitality project within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Will have an extensive MEP background, and will be familiar with all aspects of the construction/MEP integration process.







The MEP manager will understand the sequencing and logistics of the projects life cycle, understanding the specific requirements of each phase of the project and each MEP item as the construction process evolves.







The MEP Manager will be familiar with the industry standard types of electrical, plumbing and cooling/heating systems, including temporary and permanent works, assessing the projects needs and requirements, including the testing and initialization of the components, with the correct certification and local government’s approval as the project progresses. Will demonstrate a clear understanding of the designers equipment, systems, and operational requirements as shown in the construction documents.







The MEP manager will be involved in the logistics of the project, assisting and advises the team as each major mechanical component milestone is required, actively involved during the design, selection, submittal and installation process.



The role will require assisting the entire project team, and ensures integration of MEP project controls, coordinate the need of any project adjustment to schedule, logistics and sequencing, and communicates with leadership on strategy, direction.



The MEP manager will serve as point of contact between the Senior project management team, site engineers and foremen and external service providers. Assists in the information and advises the project team for owner/client meetings to ensure that the senior management can make timely and effective decisions, with accurate project information to inform the team.







• Assisting the project management team on MEP coordination



• Aids in creating and implementing project work plans, revising plans & details based on MEP project requirements.



• Actively involved in the design, selection, and submittal process of MEP components



• Communicates clearly the sequential process for key MEP items during the construction phase.



• Troubleshoots and resolves problems with MEP coordination, installation, and certification.

The University of Calgary in Qatar is currently seeking two Nurse Practice Instructors for the Clinical Simulation Centre. The Centre is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art simulation training equipment available in the world. It includes a family of high-fidelity simulators designed for scenario-based training for the care and management of a wide variety of patients.







Reporting to the Director of the Clinical Simulation Centre, the Nursing Practice Instructors will work in a high paced environment, with various competing deadlines. This role will work closely with staff, faculty, students and patients on a daily basis, requiring flexibility and an ability to adapt to an atmosphere of constant change.







The successful applicants must be able to relocate to Doha, Qatar ideally by January 2015. This is a 2 year contract renewable upon mutual agreement.

•Facilitating low to high-fidelity simulation activities within the Clinical Simulation Centre



•Working closely with standardized patients, helping to create simulations and provide direction to the actors



•Providing leadership in teaching clinical skills including health assessment



•Working effectively with small groups of students on campus or in off campus community and acute care settingsParticipating in team meetings related to practice courses and faculty governance



•Participating in student assessment and evaluations on and off campus



•Recommending program enhancements

Phlebotomist - Sidra Medical and Research Center


• Performs a variety of routine blood drawing procedures to include venipuncture techniques using standard equipment to include vacutainer tubes and sleeves, tourniquets, syringes and butterfly needles.• Confers with patients to obtain information for laboratory records, explains procedures, allays fears and elicits cooperation.• Utilizes standard procedures for the maintenance of positive patient identification and records appropriate collection information on proper requisitions.• Prepares, processes, labels and stores patient specimens and samples according to departmental procedures using standard techniques and equipment, for subsequent analysis by Clinical Laboratory staff. • Provides technical guidance to Phlebotomy students/trainees assigned to work area.• Maintains inventory of supplies and re-order as required. Stocks supplies on carts and hand trays for easier transition to other locations. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.• Responds to questions/queries and resolves problems pertaining to test requisitions, specimen requirements, test additions, priority changes (from routine to STAT and vice versa) and patient results utilizing the Lab information system or analyzing other data retrieval system.• Ensures quality control, quality assurance and safety.• Ensures that all specimen collections and processing are performed in compliance with JCI & CAP and ISO15189 guidelines.• Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager (POC, Specimen and Accessioning) and Supervisor (POC, Specimen and Accessioning).
