Job Purpose
CH2M HILL has been retained as the programme management consultant (PMC) for the Qatar Public Works Authority Inner Doha Resewerage Strategy Implementation (IDRIS) Programme. IDRIS is one of the PWA’s flagship drainage project. The components of IDRIS include:

CH2M HILL is looking for an experienced contracts administrator to join our IDRIS Programme Management team.
The successful candidate will be responsible to the Contracts Manager for the daily contract administration activities and should be familiar with different types of construction contracts. The successful candidate will coordinate with the internal departments, client and other stakeholders regarding all contractual matters that may arise.
Applicants must have proven experience in drafting, administrating and managing pre-qualification, tendering and post-award contracts of design-build, design-build-operate-maintain construction contracts and professional consultancy services agreements.
Due to the set up of the Programme we are expecting candidates to be directly involved in all subject areas of programme and project controls as well as the ability to provide guidance and leadership at all levels of the management structure. The Sr. Web Developer will need to understand how the existing HTML and CSS that works in Internet Explorer and then restyle it so that it continues to work in Internet Explorer, but also works with Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. The candidate should be enthusiastic about gathering feedback to maximize ease of use throughout the application.Must function with a high level of organization and have the ability to work independently. Knowledge of web programming for multiple browsers is critical.Understand databases, SQL statements, and data structures. Individual can work independently to analyze a program with no existing design, ERD, or requirements list. The candidate must be a team player. This means having great interpersonal skills and working well with others as well as having a collaborative work style.Excellent ability communicates effectively in a 'group think' environment is a must!!!We move forward as a team. The developer would need to be able to use the following tools: SQL Server Management Studio 2012, Visual Studio 2012, and Eclipse to review the code base and understand the underlying data structure
• Troubleshoots problems and acts as a liaison between the end users and the application product support.
• Develops database systems.
• Participates in programs and systems development, configuration and implementation of systems and tools selection.
• Learns to work with personnel of organizational units involved to identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input, how data is to be summarized, and formats for reports.
• Participates in review of computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
• Plans and prepares technical reports and instructional manuals as documentation of program development.
• Ensures work is performed in compliance with company policies including Privacy.
• Works with business and functional analysts converting business requirements, processes, and design into comprehensive, robust, efficient, and stable technical designs and solutions.
• Prepares comprehensive technical design documentation required according to methodology for all technical solutions.
• Interacts with other team members and performs thorough due diligence to ensure understanding of the potential impacts of proposed solutions on other areas of the systems and/or project.
• Provides estimates of work required to implement solutions.
• Develops thorough test plans and scripts; executes and supports execution of all testing for technical solutions including documentation of the testing to ensure stable and robust solutions are implemented.
• Desire to work in a start-up style environment where iteration is encouraged.
• Experience in web application design developing applications against multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
• Understanding of design concepts, optimization, user experience and user interface best practices
• Working with stakeholders and requirements analysts to understand business needs
• Designing and documenting technical specifications
• Working with quality assurance staff to address issues found
• Designing and implementing appropriate security access procedures
• Working with network administrators to implement solutions in the production environment.
• Performing unit testing on each module based on test specifications and logging results
• Updating program and test case specifications for any discrepancies
