Currently looking for a Risk and Opportunities Manager for a leading oil/gas EPC company based in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities;

Role: The Risk Manager reports to the Project Director and provides direct support in the implementation of the Risk Management Plan.

Specific Responsibilities:

- Develop risk management plan considering the contract requirements and get it approved by Client- Organize risk management workshop and come out with risk register and action plan for the closure of identified risks- Implement the risk management using PERMS/Easy Risk software- Work with other Project personnel responsible for implementation of area specific risk (i.e., HSE, project, technical and cost/schedule) management related activities to ensure work is conducted in accordance with the Risk Management Plan;- Ensure that the identified hazards requiring treatment (action) or monitoring are added to the Project Risk Register;- Ensure risks and their associated mitigations are tracked and closed by due dates via proactive communication with relevant key risk management- Review current controls for effectiveness and work with Quality Assurance (QA) where necessary to validate effectiveness;- Ensure that risks recorded and identified in the Project Risk Register have effective mitigation plans which are further investigated by the project team to determine additional risk mitigation that will reduce the risk to an acceptable level;- Ensure that once the mitigation has been completed, the status of the risk is updated in the Project Risk Register. This is carried out in conjunction with the person responsible for action towards any mitigations and the Project Manager;- Participate in the monthly monitoring of the Risk Register with the Project Director;- Escalate risk related issues as required.
