We are currently looking for a business unit manager to lead and develop a leading European business focussing on the design and build of storage tanks in the GCC region. Due to their forecasted growth plans over the next 3 years they need an individual to drive the business through the initial stages of growth.

Key responsibilities include assuming P&L responsibility for the unit as well managing and directing the operations and projects, business development and business expansion; you will also be responsible for directing and leading the senior Managers and business heads, whilst reporting directly to the CEO of the parent company.

Key responsibilities will involve:

• Business development across the O&G and related sectors.

• Business Strategy / Financial Management

• Conceptualise and lead operations in overall by following company policies, guidelines and goals communicated by the company.

• Manage P&L and balance sheet performance.

• Develop and operationalise strategies, long-range plans, annual operating plans, annual budgets, while measuring progress on on-going basis.

• Undertake project management activities and supervise the teams.

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for the development of the project.

• Plan and manage the operations team development and resource allocation.

• Develop strategic plan to advance companies objectives and to promote revenue and profitability within or any potential expansion.

• Conduct all financial reviews and demonstrate the most appropriate cost efficiency in all business functions and issue the reporting on weekly / monthly basis as the case may be.

• Strategic Management (Planning, Financial, Analysis, Business development) project management and in developing project plans, coordinate projects, communicate changes and progress, complete projects in time and budget, manage project team activities
