HR Consultant - Aetna Global Benefits ME LLC
Position Summary/Mission:
· Provides HR Support and consulting expertise on local HR issues within MEA region. With HRBP MEA Ensures that MEA - SMT are kept fully briefed on HR initiatives and where requested represent the regional requirements at HR forums.
· Leads or participates in the strategic design, delivery, and administration of Health, Wellness, or Retirement/Financial benefits plans. Supports the delivery of cost effective and compliant Benefits, Payroll Services, and HR transactions.
· As required works with and supports HR project aligned to the business associated with Qatar including recruitment programmes, provision of MI data, managing recruitment diaries communications with candidates, agencies AI managers or dealing with social media applications where appropriate.

Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but not limited to:
· Works directly with HRBP and MEA. Business Line Managers to ensure critical people processes are effectively and efficiently undertaken. Interprets and applies HR policy and process effectively.
· Supports with the implementation of services, policies and programs working with HR International Team, assists line managers with HR/employee issues as directed
· Assisting with performance reviews, training and other program, including validating data and resolving queries
· Provides effective vendor management and relationship building, with internal and external service providers as directed by Head of HR Global and HR BP MEA.
· Understands and stays current on the “demographics, habits and practices, needs and preferences” of
· Participates in HR, Payroll and Benefits due-diligence, planning, integration, communication and On boarding in support of company acquisitions, New Starters and/or Leavers. Ensures the on-boarding processes in MEA meet compliance requirements where requested by HRBP
· Coordinate process and to support the fully monthly payroll cycle for assigned business client organization in MEA, including all ad-hoc changes to pay and the implementation of pay awards - salary and bonus for MEA employees. Prepare and maintain accurate pay roll records and reports.
· Maintain data integrity. Responding to and submitting information effectively for annual external Audits.
· Ensure that Benefit, Payroll and/or HR transactions are processed effectively and timely, and in accordance with government regulations. r Participates in complying with regulatory requirements.
· Ensuring all statutory reporting is completed to the highest standards within legislated deadlines. Management reporting and statutory filings, undertaking year end procedures, Manages special projects, as assigned by Head of International HR, in support of business priorities and/or professional development. Priorities aligned to the Qatar business programme.
· Personally provide effective systems administration to MEA HR systems including systems maintenance and data quality. To provide front-end support to HR Systems including user training and advice, monitoring data and user integrity in addition to assisting processing requirements. To generate reports and reconcile data - Regularly generate reports (custom & writing new reports), analyses data in addition to manipulating data to provide accurate and timely reports as requested by, Head of HR Global or AI/HR Programme Manager
· To generate and promote a positive health and safety culture and to control occupational risk. Working in partnership with employers, employees and directors.
· Ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted. Help to plan, implement, monitor and review the protective and preventative measures that companies are required to work to minimize losses, accidents and injuries
