Administrative Assistant - Health Sciences - College of the North Atlantic - Qatar
Under the supervision of the Dean of the School of Health Sciences, the successful candidate will be responsible for all administrative duties required for the School. This includes but not limited to:
Duties & responsibilities:
• Provide secretarial and administrative support to the coordinator and staff of the SHS.
• Work closely with the dean and chair regarding matters of documentation requirements.
• Prepare and process invoices, cheque requisitions, and petty cash for the SHS.
• Generate P.O. requisitions and maintain related budget sheets.
• Receive, respond and/or direct routine calls to the SHS.
• Maintain instructional resource materials and supplies through an electronic requisition process
• Prepare letters, forms, reports and other documents.
• Research information, compile statistics, gather and compute various data; prepare special and/or one-time reports, summaries, or reply to inquiries, selecting relevant data from a variety of sources
• Schedule workshops, appointments and maintains calendars;
• Schedule, coordinate and facilitate meetings, facilities usage, events, and/or travel arrangements, as required.
• Attend various meetings, generate and archive minutes of meetings
• Generate and maintain various documentation in support of accreditation activities
• Establish, update, and maintain files (electronic & manual), inventories, and records.
• Implement and maintain data management systems, as required.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
