BE / B Tech in mechanics or similar from reputed University



MBA will be appreciated







About 7 to 10 Years Experience in Spare parts Management



Experience in managing logistics operation will be a plus



Good knowledge of Hyundai and/or Cummins will be much appreciated



Vendor Management ? Exposure to identify and deal with international vendors and process will be desirable



Good experience in Operation Management in setting up Spare parts Service standards like Fill Rate, Order status, Back order response, etc.. and meet them



Handled large team of warehouse staff, spares procurement, clearance staff and good Man Management skills



Excellent communication skill



Interaction with Principals / marketing / other departments



Must have Passion for customer service



Capacity to adopt in new cultural environment in very short period







Customer Satisfaction







a) Establish manage and control a sales system that recognizes and enforces concepts leading to customer loyalty and referrals.



b) Follow-up and resolve all customer requests and complaints.







? Sales



a) Maintain and build on sales to ensure department profitability.



b) Set standards for personnel to follow.



c) Establish long and short term sales and profit objectives for both the department and sales personnel.



d) Develop merchandising, advertising and sales promotion plans to enhance the profitability of the department.







Expense Control



a) Manage departmental expenses to maximize profitability and review



expenses regularly to ensure resources are being used effectively and efficiently.



b) Develop and maintain monthly budgets.



c) Check, inspect and authorize all necessary orders, picking slips, requisitions and purchase orders.



d) Develop and maintain efficient billing, costing and discount procedures.











Inventory Control



a) Establish and maintain a balanced inventory that ensures customer?s needs are met, specially internal ones.



b) Follow up on all material returns and credit requests.



c) Ensure wholesale compensation and obsolescence criteria are met and obtained.



d) Control purchase and ordering procedures to maintain department profitability.



e) Ensure all incoming Parts are checked for conformity and price and return any non-conforming or damaged part with credit request or insurance claim.



f) Maintain shipping and receiving timetables.



g) Ensure smooth flow of daily paperwork.



h) Maximize the utilization of existing space.



i) Focus on reducing all excess, sleeping and obsolete inventory







Marketing and Advertising



a) Seek and provide market and competitor information for evaluation.



b) Provide sales staff with information that will create new business.











Interdepartmental Relations



a) Establish and maintain good working relationships with all other departments specially garage to reduce conflict and maximize Company Profitability.







Factory Relations



a) Establish good relation and maintain lines of communication with all makers



b) Ensure that the spare parts are procurable within short time and affordable price with quality







Meet KPI



a) Ensure that you and your team meet the defined KPI Parameters



b) Ensure that you analyze the KPI report and take corrective actions in coordination with Service Manager



c) Provide KPI to the team down the line to meet the company objectives
