Architect Procurement Engineer/Coordinator

• Initiates requests for quotation and investigates potential suppliers and new supply sources.



• Float BOQ and Specs into market for prices.



• Provides full evaluation and analysis of priced quotations received from the suppliers to ensure best value for the business.



• Initiates referrals to the suppliers or requesting submittal whenever there is a need for approvals or additional information.



• Negotiates prices with suppliers wherever possible and prepare a price comparison table, forwards (With material requisition routing for approval as per authority procedure).



• Review all incoming correspondence related to quotations, technical referrals and approvals, PO delivery and reception status, decides on the appropriate course of action.



• Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers attached with the necessary documents based on the procedure coordinate with the supplier to fulfill purchasing formalities (Stamp PO above 50,000SAR) & bank guarantee for Orders above 100,000SAR & ensure timely delivery of materials.



• Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages missed or late deliveries, and other problems.



• Provision of any required purchasing reports requested by the senior coordinator/ section head/ or Procurement head.



• Attend to routine administrative issues related with purchase orders.



• Maintain and update files, records, certificates, and or / the documents as required.



• Review any purchasing reports for pending purchase orders with the senior coordinator / Section Head and discuss any issue or discrepancies.
