Business developer - ASACERT MIDDLE EAST

Certification body based in Ajman, accredited by DAC (Dubai Accreditation Department) for ISO 9001, ISO 14011 and OHSAS 18001 is looking for a qualified auditor for these three standards, who is also able to act as a business developer. We seek expert professionals with a wide experience in sales and management gained in other certification bodies. The new business developer will operate mainly, but not exclusively, in the UAE, Oman and Qatar. Candidates with a VISA and living in UAE will be preferred. Familiarity with office automation packages required. We are looking for a highly motivated, professional, resourceful candidate who is ready to start working and learning immediately. The perfect candidate is a resolute and objective-oriented person with strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as an excellent sales aptitude. We offer a one-year initial contract. After the first year of contract, the company always consider a permanent employment of successful candidates, of course, if they are also willing to stay with us. Public Relations Assistant - Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics

Overview of role

The Lush UAE support office is looking for a Public Relations Assistant to work alongside the rest of the Brand Team, helping to share everything LUSH has to offer with the public. Your main focus will be UAE & Saudi Arabia supporting our own shops, and it’s likely you will need to visit Saudi once a month to network. You will have experience in Digital PR, with knowhow across all social media platforms. Your role is to maintain and develop relationships with industry influencers & bloggers to tell LUSH’s many brand stories.

What we’ll ask you to do:

• Maintaining the great relationship with our PR agency - helping to align our strategy.

• Find and develop a network of influential bloggers relationship - arranging exclusive events & parties

• Research and develop new media contacts (print and online) throughout UAE & Saudi, in addition to nurturing and maintaining excellent working relationships with current media contacts.

• Regularly meet with media contacts - to entertain, build relationships and/or offer shop tours and showcase products.

• Bring ideas to the brand team about what we should focus on in relation to the press needs.

• Dealing with enquiries from the press & bloggers.

• Become the contact between us and the charities/group that we work with on our campaigns.

• Arranging PR events - Press trips, seasonal launches & store visits.

• Use the data we have to measure the KPI’s of our media coverage.

• Write creative and compelling press releases that stand out amongst the crowd - needs to be relevant and engaging.

• Liaise with the UK on European messaging and vision
