About Your Job:

As a customs clearance supervisor you will coordinate the clearance of freight documentation through the relevant customs authorities working with customers to guide and advise on customs regulation / qualifications both in the origin and destination countries. You will process customs clearance documentation for our customer base, deal with the customs authority on a daily basis, deliver excellent customer service to all customers, Work on assigned key account customers to ensure their needs are met. You will continue to develop knowledge on customs qualifications, ensuring new regulations are understood and implemented where required. You will nnsure Duty/VAT paid out is collected on delivery and ensure any queries/refunds are followed up and resolved immediately.

You will be responsible for customs clearance product of the company and monitor regulatory and legislative changes. As a customs clearance supervisor you will Interpret and respond to custom queries and implement and control desired operating procedures. All imported goods clearance at Airport /Seaport/ Land port will be managed by you. You will update municipal approval for food items, manage "Cash House Fund" for expenses related to clearance and preparing bayan and other PAI/ customs/ municipality documentation. You will prioritize clearance as per logistics planner updates and communicate with Shipping Co's for shipment arrivals, and collection of delivery orders.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will need a bachelor's degree. You will have a minimum of 5 years job-related experience with excellent level in computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Ms Access and Powerpoint. You must have 2-3 years operations experience, preferably within transportation or logistics industry. An IATA Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification will be an advantage. You must posses an excellent oral and written Arabic and English communication skills.
