The role is responsible for providing and implementing techno-commercial solutions to complex problems related to concrete repairs and civil maintenance works for our Oil & Gas clients. The incumbent will essentially be involved in all sales & operations aspects of the business, including preparation of tenders, quotations and proposals, technical support to sales and operations, and in-house training.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as subject matter expert on concrete repairs and civil maintenance, and provide guidance to sales, operations and customers as required.

- Understand the needs of customers and provide early contractor involvement on technically challenging projects and consistently respond with value engineered solutions that offer savings in both time and cost.

- Provide technical sales support by offering solutions to customer needs, supervise preparation of estimations, tenders and proposals, reviewing contracts, providing technical presentations and preparing inputs for tender document responses.

- Play an active role inthe sales process, ensuring profitable business growth on year to year basis from enquiry to contract finalization.

- Analyzing market requirements and identifying new business opportunities.

- Make presentations and partake in panel discussions as a technical expert on behalf of DicoTech at seminars, conferences, similar forums

- Provide technical training and development of company staff

- Maintain an up-to-date awareness of equipment, technological developments through appropriate means, i.e., review of periodicals, communication with suppliers / manufacturers, attendance at conferences/user groups, etc.

- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

- Ensure that all strategies and recommendations made as a result of the technical studies carried out during due-diligence/mobilization / transition are fully implemented, monitored and improved throughout the life of the contract by project managers

- Reinforce strategic technical direction in daily operations

- Ensure compliance with industry and company technical requirements, standards, policies, and procedures

- Proactively identify and address technical/operational processes impacting Oil & Gas department

- Monitor technical and engineering progress to ensure strategies, goals, and objectives are met and that our performance is in compliance with the industry. Implement and bring about changes as essential for the growth and progress of the company. Apply quality industry standards in daily operations and ensures that they are consistently met and that technical operations comply with system, region and HSE / OSHA programs.

- Promote a customer-driven service culture.

- Develop and maintains cooperative and professional relationships with customers, suppliers and representatives from other departments and organizations.

- Build and maintain strong relationship with existing key customers to develop business further.
