Position Summary: The roles and responsibilities of this position will be to carry out various work assignments including but not limited to traffic studies, sector circulation and parking studies, traffic impact assessments and traffic signal design and optimization. Work assignments could include planning, design, operation, system integration, and supervision of transport assignments.

The position is primarily in support of our works for the Abu Dhabi Municipality and the successful candidate will work within our team at the Municipality premises.

The following is a bulleted list of the key assignments. It will include but not be limited to:

 Support the client on a variety of Transportation related tasks and activities including supporting the development of DOT personal;

 Manage traffic engineering and transportation planning work orders and assignments;

 Manage and prepare traffic impact and parking studies;

 Prepare signal timing plans using tools such as the Synchro traffic model;

 Preparation of traffic signal configurations, their implementation including factory and site acceptance testing;

 Training and mentoring of personnel from both Transpo and our clients;

 Attend client meetings and represent Transpo on project and work order assignments;

 Prepare proposals (method statements / scopes of work / budgets);

 Provide technical advice to our staff and clients including technical presentations and reports;

 Work in a team and collaborative environment with our staff and clients;

 Prepare and review of tender and contract documents;

 Review proposals and technical submittal from various contractors and consultants;

 Supporting the intersection and corridor optimisation programme;
