Job Summary:
Reporting to the Organizational Development (OD) Manager, this Project role provides operational OD services to identified capability development and change management initiatives in line with Sidra's strategic directions and in order to foster a collaborative, positive and performance driven culture enabled by continuous improvement and development.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
* Works directly with the OD Manager and identified clients within the Project to conduct research and supports the design, implementation, and evaluation of large-scale capability development and change initiatives and programs across Sidra including, but not limited to, staff onboarding, learning and development, performance systems, engagement strategies and others.
* Provides support to the OD Manager in developing and promoting a learning organization within Sidra focused on its people, the organizational culture and quality continuous improvement and development initiatives.
* Uses appropriate and contemporary OD tools and evidenced based methods to support initiatives objectively and professionally and ensure a credible OD service.
* Collaboratively supports the development of detailed initiative implementation plans and evaluation strategies, measures and metrics to ensure that performance can be monitored and measured and success realized.
* Undertakes diagnosis of issues (current and potential) within the scope of the initiative or change effort, including the impact of that effort on other work systems (qualitatively and quantitatively) in order to ensure a ‘systems' approach to the consultancy.
* Builds positive, collaborative relationships with identified key account clients to ensure high levels of engagement and understanding of the issues facing the client.
* Supports the review of systems and practices to ensure corporate alignment between Sidra's vision and plan through to individual performance management outcomes.
* Represents the OD Manager in identified meetings and workshops, and ensures an atmosphere that is positive, collaborative, results focused and evidence based.
* Undertakes administrative duties related to the role including the management of meeting minutes and action items.
In view of the developing and changing needs and opportunities within Sidra during this start-up phase, this position may perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL:
* Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Psychology, Education or any other related area.
* 3+ years relevant experience.
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary OD and how it relates to organizational capability and performance development.
