Programmes Controller (Skywards)


To support the ongoing development and implementation of Skywards, Emirates’ Frequent Flyer Programme and its related activities, including product development, deployment, promotions, communications, events, data analytics, and monitoring of KPIs, the competition and the industry.



Job Accountabilities



- Work with Skywards MPD and Programmes Managers to research and develop new member benefits/schemes/promotions/communication methods, in order to ensure the programme stays innovative, exceeds customer expectations and is used for benchmarking in the industry.



- Using both qualitative and quantitative techniques, research and analyse customer preferences and conduct detailed data analysis to understand member behavioural patterns and leverage opportunities to enhance the product in a proactive manner.



- Manage day-to-day co-ordination with key stakeholder departments across the airline to ensure deployment of programme benefits and offers, develop related processes, training and communications for members.



- Create, manage and monitor Skywards promotional campaigns to help support commercial regions and outstations to maximise use of the Skywards programme in order to achieve their airline revenue targets. These promotions will add valued for members and increase Emirates yield.

Console Operator / Panel Operator / DCS Operator - Resource Professionals


- Candidate will work as console operator (panel operator) for Refinery Units located in Jazan Refinery Complex which includes directing the shift workers to perform all operation duties during the shift.



- He will be responsible about the safety of the plant and personnel and maintaining reliable operation.



- Also, he will be responsible for monitoring the unit operating conditions and parameters including product quality and make adjustments to maintain product quality, yields and production rates.



- He will be working on the DCS system along with many other supporting systems like vibration monitoring, compressor control, MVC, Advanced control systems…and alike. He will report any upset to his shift supervisor and concerned people.



- The candidate should be flexible to relocate in eastern, western, central and south of the kingdom serving the company or for training purposes, in addition, to willingness to work in shifts, The employee will be working for Jazan Refinery Complex.



- Utilizes Power Monitoring System (PMS), which combines digital electric power meters with software-based PC system to obtain operational benefits.



- Also, utilizes the PMS system to reduce the plant electric power consumption to reduce electric power usage



Utilizes Performance & Profitability Monitoring System (PPMS), that provides the operator with a real time economic indicators (Gross, variable and net margin), to enable him to maximize his unit contribution to the Company revenue



Controls unit upsets and bring it to a safe and normal operation level.



- Perform trouble shooting and problem solving during equipment or unit failure and performs start-up and shut down of the equipment/unit safely.



- Provides direction to the Operators.



- Takes responsibility of Supervising Operator during his absence.



- Provides training to new operators in the unit.



- He possesses the ability to take on assignments in any plant after break-in period of minimum duration

Equity Trader - Babuntu Asset Management Consultancy


ABOUT THIS JOB



Our client is an asset management unit with focus on trading in the financial markets and is looking to add students in their final year of university and recent graduates to their tight-knit group of seasoned and intermediate traders. Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to join our trading floor and undergo a brief initial training period, after which they will trade global stocks and ETFs with an industry-leading execution platform.



*Please Note : Work hours are between 4PM and Midnight in Dubai - ie. during the regular Wall Street session.*







WHAT TO EXPECT



New trader interns will be provided with education materials and videos to familiarise themselves with the inner workings of the stock market, equity valuation, Japanese candlestick charting, level 2s, technical chart patterns and tier-size risk management. These methods work across the FX, commodities and futures markets. New traders will initially be tested on a paper-money account on which to practice execution, before going live with firm capital. All traders are in charge of their profit and loss.



Traders will have a chance to interact on our trading floor, share ideas and are expected to record a profitable track record within 8 months using the methodology taught, or their own academic intuition. This position is not salaried during the 3 month shadow period (June through August) - compensation is based 100% on your trading profits and your ability to adhere to risk parameters in a competitive environment. Profitable traders will receive a weekly payout directly correlated with their winnings from the start.



This position exposes you on a basic level to all the facets of the investment industry; from idea generation, analysis and quantitative research, trade/strategy development to capital raising and client management. We cultivate the members of our team to be the ultimate industry professionals, and hire interns with the intention of re-inviting them for full time work after graduation. Fresh economics graduates and financial market enthusiasts are also encouraged to apply - a career in trading can be very rewarding and is a means to create independent income and jumpstart a career in finance. Interns with programming experience will be taught methods of quantitative finance and algorithmic trading to code & build their own trading strategies in-house if they opt to do so. Project Manager


This role is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.



DUTIES



• Identify and engage appropriate level of cross functional representatives forming a team to deliver the project brief; ensure resource issues are resolved
