Marketing Officer

Role Summary



Coordinate entire internal marketing as well as promotional efforts inclusive of school, public relations, community relations, information, in-store sign collateral, events and demos



Main Accountabilities



• Write and present Press Releases and Conferences to Media and Reporters to enhance awareness of events, external event sponsorships and strategic partnerships



• Develop and maintain promotional relations with local schools, community organizations and businesses.



• Perform as advocate as well as information source for graphics standards and marketing programs.



• Develop and execute advertising programs and external marketing to market the school activities and spread people awareness



• Distribute the school accreditation all over Tripoli



• Prepare marketing strategy and write action plans to attain specific objectives



• Measure, analyze and evaluate programs as required



• Supervise media, events and community relations, promotions and local advertising



• Coordinate interviews, local media and community relations



• Interview, select, evaluate, counsel and terminate all Team Members



• Coordinate entire internal marketing as well as promotional efforts inclusive of school, public relations, community relations, information, in-store sign collateral, events and demos.



• Support, participate and present feedback in the school market



• Support every aspect of Marketing at the school



• Website management (newsletter)



• Conduct surveys

Recording and processing of all invoices in the



system as per the DOA.



Review suppliers’ accounts and reconciles



suppliers statements with each payment made.



Receives all LPO's, checks with respect to their



authorization as per the Delegation of Authority and receives Suppliers'



invoices, completes verification with authorized LPO's / Contracts.



Prepares monthly / annual balance sheet



schedules and Inter-company reconciliations.



Process and record transactions on an accurate and time basis including prepayments, accruals, advances, liquidations, transfer of funds, bank charges, and inter-company transactions in ERP.



Recording the Staff Travel and Expense (T&E)



reimbursement claims according to the reimbursement policy of the company.



Recording the petty cash expense & their



replenishment.



Produce monthly accounts receivable ageing



reports.



Review the vendor, customer, asset master



details to be created in the system.



Recording and reconciliation of cash sale



proceeds deposited into bank incl. credit cards.



Recording of intercompany loan, interest,



drawdown and repayment.



Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.



Preparation of Debit/Credit Notes.

Accountant - Majid Al Futtaim Ventures

· Responsible for ensuring delivery of the Order to Cash finance functions



· Produce monthly accounts receivable ageing reports and make collection efforts



· Responsible for creation of assets code, capitalization, transfer and disposal entries, FA to General ledger reconciliation, depreciation calculation and CWIP Accounting.



· Maintain FA register and responsible for communicating and resolving any unusual / discrepancy



· Review the payment applications for suppliers submitted by various departments based on the payment policies and procedures of the company.



· Responsible for the supplier / vendor account reconciliation.



· Recording of all the inter-company loan transactions incl. interest calculation.



· Review the staff Travel and Expense (T&E) reimbursement claims according to the reimbursement policy of the company.



· Monitor the aging accounts payable at the end of every month, and clear them in a timely manner.



· Monitor, manage and resolve queries and customer complaints as well as escalate cases to the Supervisor in accordance to SLAs



· Complete the monthly reconciliation of the bank balances.



· Perform accruals, check for supporting statements and workings for all accruals



· Ensure intercompany transactions are recorded timely and are completed in accordance with the monthly close calendar



· Responsible to balance all inter-company accounts in an effective way

Civil engineers may perform the following tasks:



• investigate sites to work out the most suitable foundation for a proposed construction



• research and advise on the best engineering solution to meet with a client's needs and budget



• produce detailed designs and documentation for the construction and implementation of civil engineering projects



• organise the delivery of materials, plant machinery and equipment needed for the construction project and supervise labour



• develop detailed programs for the coordination of site activities



•talk to other engineers, architects, landscape architects and environmental scientists



• assist government bodies in preparing yearly works programs within set budgets (e.g. for works on car parks, drainage, roads, aerodromes or sewerage)

• research, advise on and plan the control and minimisation of air, water and solid waste pollution, and the management of water



•supervise the testing and commissioning of completed works



• analyse and interpret reports on loading, labour, productivity, quality, materials and performance



• analyse risks associated with natural disasters including wind, earthquake, fire and floods, and design structures and services to meet appropriate standards



• arrange for geological and geophysical investigations and carry out feasibility studies.
