Senior Quantity surveyor


 Advise and assist in the preparation an agreement of interim valuations and final accounts, both from Subcontractors and to the client. This includes providing hands on assistance in the measurement and valuation of work when requested by the Commercial Manager



 Presentation of documentation in relation to subcontracts, ensuring that subcontract terms and conditions reflect obligations undertaken by DSI under the contract.



 Formulate, when required, in conjunction with the contract team, a commercial plan specifically identifying the activities necessary to protect the company and enhance the profitability of contracts and contract variations.



 Ensure that subcontract costs are monitored and controlled against agreed budgets, and that cost information is accurately recorded and regularly presented to appropriate personnel in a clear and concise format.



 Assisting as required in the placing and administration of direct supply orders (sales conditions / increased costs etc)



 When required ensure that subcontract progress is monitored and controlled against agreed program. Identify and investigate any variations from plan and notify these to appropriate personnel, agreeing and implementing appropriate remedial action with contract manager



 Evaluate dispute information and prepare and agree claims for reimbursement of loss and expense. Negotiate and manage the resolution of disputes



 Maintain highest levels of commercial confidentiality in all aspects of employment



 Collate and present financial information in accordance with company procedures to line management



 Follow up interim applications for payment t the client and liaise with Accounts/Credit Control to secure payment



 All other tasks that may be reasonably requested by your management team at any



 Assisting as required in the placing and administration of direct supply orders (sales conditions / increased costs etc)

Agent Payments Processing Coordinator - National Oilwell


Function :



APP Coordinator performs all the activities from receiving the agent recharge invoices till the final payment of the invoice to the agent after going through the NOV Payment Procedures . The incumbent has to provide timely update to management, involvement with agents directly, smooth flow of payment.



Job Purpose:



Agent recharge invoice verification, Follow up with agents and other related parties with regards to the invoice, Upload the invoice into APM Website, Any other updated work related to the agent recharges.



Key Acountabilities :



Auditing /Accounting



• Timely audit of Agent recharges, Updation of the same for records.



• Detailed translation of the expense in details from various languages (specially from Arabic / Kurdish to English) like Specifications, Numbers,names etc.



• Printing, Scanning the documents after the review.



• Timely follow up with agents, vendors, NOV Concerned for recharge related queries..Uploading invoice into APM Website, followup with APM Houtston for status, updates, reply on the queries on timely manner, proper investigation on the queries sent out.



• Approval to be timely intimated to the GL /AP Team for the payment.Support GL Team in case of any of the agent related requirement.



• Updating the reports to the management as and when required.



• Follow up with the location for the updation on the upload status of the agent recharges.



• Timely checking of APM Site for any payment restriction update .



• Audit the invoice from the accounting aspect (know the effect of transaction).



Contract / Policy Knowledge



• Agency Contract verification on timely basis for the auditing purpose, notification of any variance.



• Compliance and NOV General Policy knowledge for auditing. Seeking approvals from managers concerned.



Legal /HR Intervention



• Follow up with HR for salary, Rig bonus related recharges, any employee contract issues until it gets fixed and agent recharges are cleared.



• Interaction with Legal department for any agency contract updation, amendment required on time to time basis.



General



• Timely decision making to ensure the smooth flow of agent recharges through the system also the payment process.



• Handle agents independently with their queries and updates.



• Manage the work pressure and stimulate the time limit between agents based on the priority.
