Sales Executive - ASCOM
As our Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:
Develop and manage a given territory in Africa under Senior Account Director management (target to achieve)
Assisting Outside Account Directors in creating new business by identifying and prioritizing prospects from GHD and following up on these leads
Telephone, email, travel over Africa and other forms of prospecting for new/install customers; fielding inbound calls & email inquiries
Managing inquiries and qualifying leads
Updating opportunities within our CRM database
Trade show pre and post sales support
Conducting pre-sales calls with prospects
Following up on marketing leads to further qualify prospects, offer solutions, and provide quotes
Assist with RFPs and presentations to customers
Set up new customer in CRM
Coordinate with order-desk and finance
Profile:
Basic Understanding of sales techniques, processes and environment
Proven ability and comfort with prospecting and follow-through
At ease speaking with decision makers
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Professional demeanor, attitude and appearance
A self-starter with confidence to achieve measurable goals
Detail oriented, accountable and can work independently with very little supervision
Work well in a busy, fast-paced environment
Competitive and assertive nature
Proficiency with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.) and Sales database tools.
Bachelor’s degree
