The MEP Construction Manager leads the effort in coordinating and managing the MEP trades on major construction projects. This candidate will work with Project team to ensure successful completion of all MEP trade work. The MEP Construction Manager will have 15 years of hands on exposure in a civil construction field with a focus on HV. MV, LV and their substations, district cooling, gas, HVAC, PWC and other utilities and services including the coordination with authorities at various stages.

SCOPE OF WORK:

· Over all in charge of MEP construction activities on the job site.

· Leading the project zone construction managers and the project construction team (project engineers - site engineers - site foremen) to run the MEP construction activities as per the approved base line construction schedule, approved materials, approved method statements and approved shop drawings.

· Liaise with the project engineering manager with regard to the availability of approved shop drawings and approved materials needed for construction activities.

· Scheduling of the day to day construction activities and monitor the day to day work progress.

· Liaison with the QA/QC department manager to achieve high quality of workmanship and to submit the constructed activities for inspections/approval on time.

· Liaise and coordinate the MEP Construction activities of his team with the main contractor civil works construction activities to avoid any delays to main contractor and other trades construction activities.

· Follow and run all of the construction activities in full compliance to the company approved HSE policies and procedures.

· Approving the issuance of the materials required for construction from the project site warehouse and stores.

· Liaise with the logistic section any of the project needs for any kind of heavy equipment and machineries

· Monitoring and approving the daily attendance sheet as per submitted by the time keeping section and get it approved.

· Approving the daily allocated man power sheets submitted by the construction managers as per the scheduled site construction activities.

· Joining the Manager in attending the meetings with main contractor- consultant and project management.

· Liaising with the Engineer to prepare the monthly achieved construction activities.

· Following, monitoring and scheduling the performance of any contracted works and report on his performance to the Manager.

· Coordinating all of the testing and commissioning activities among all of the MEP trades and supervise / track any third party testing commissioning works.
