Head - Pre Owned Cars


Analyse number of evaluations done for last 2-3 years; Evaluate current market conditions; Understand new vehicle sales projections; Estimate % new vehicle sales that could be evaluated; Determine % of such evaluations that will be traded-in; Assess export potential; Plan infrastructure, manpower and investments required; Defend business case; Understand final budgets; Allocate KRAs & targets; Monitor progress on business plan achievement in order to contribute to the company business goals.



Monitor and guide the evaluation process (quality of procurement, accident-free vehicle etc); Analyse the vehicle evaluation sheet; Analyse market conditions, demand-supply and other inputs from team etc; Collate all analysis; Prepare market buying and selling index; Determine the used-car buying price; Negotiate price with new-vehicle sales executive; Resolve conflict (on pricing) with new-vehicle sales executive in order to arrive at an optimum pricing for trade-ins.



Monitor ageing of stocks (60-90-180 days stock); Identify red-flag issues; Analyse root cause; Direct corrective actions (such as preparing offers, releasing classified ads, seeking loss-approval,bulk orders, exports, parking at different locations) in order to dispose-off stock at the earliest across KSA



Approve sales price; Negotiate with end-customer; Analyse demographics and buying trends; Plan campaigns / referral schemes; Coordinate with Marketing for campaigns & popularising website; Coordinate with C&C for special financing schemes; Suggest to Marketing changes that can be made to the website in order to increase sales of used cars across KSA



Understand business potential and situation at branches; Identify and prioritise need for trade-in & trade-out support required at branches; Appoint evaluators at branches; Plan used-car sales outlets at branches and other GCC countries (for exports); Review existing infrastructure and compliance to processes; Deploy corrective actions in order to spread the reach of used car business in other GCC countries.



Devise quarterly marketing plans (carnivals, Friday-markets, advertisements referral schemes etc) based on annual targets; Allocate budgets; Oversee the execution of marketing plans; Review results achieved and plan corrective actions in order to generate prospects.



Estimate manpower requirements; Recruit as per requirement (such as skilled evaluators); Discuss and set KRA and KPIs for team; Review of their performance; Coach and guide team; Identify training needs of team; Identify and groom successors; Implement employee engagement and team building activities in order to have a motivated and effective workforce.
