Reporting to the Design Manager this role is to support the management and coordination of the engineering design during the life of the programme.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the Design Manager in the management and co-ordination of the engineering design for projects across all phases of work in the design process

· Monitoring and reporting on progress and quality of Design Consultants deliverables

· Auditing compliance against standards, policies, procedures and best practises for engineering on the Programme

· Monitoring compliance against the approvals requirements, including regulatory authorities, for the Programme

· Participating in the process of design reviews

· Liaison and co-ordination between the Designers in the development of engineering work packages

· Ensuring that Health, Safety, Environment and Security requirements are properly considered and included in all stages of the design process

· Assisting in obtaining approvals from certification bodies

· Ensure the Design Consultants deliver the right product of the right quality on schedule.
