Primary reporting to the respective Area Delivery Manager (ADM) and the Senior Contracts Manager (SCM) Matrix reporting to the Commercial Manager. Responsible for the supervision and performance of the post-contract commercial management of project sites within the respective Area.

· Performance of the commercial aspects of a group of projects as part of the programme management consultant’s role on a major programme of infrastructure development works

· Developing and managing the commercial relationships with the design and supervision consultants and contractors on the projects within their Area

· Monitor and report on contracts administration performance by Contractors, Design Consultants and Construction Supervisors

· Interface with other teams to meet overall program deliverables

· Assists with the development of the contracts and procurement strategy, standards, policies, procedures and best practices

· Ensures the correct execution of procedures for payments, variations, claims and commercial administration of Project contracts.

· Ensures that payments are certified to contractors and consultants in a timely manner

· Supervises a team of QS/Contract administrators to ensure that commercial issues within the respective areas are resolved in a timely manner

· Reviews Variations/Claims for processing

· Prepares the required documentation for Employer committee approval

Provide support to the pre-contracts management team to ensure that they meet the Project objectives by establishing contracts and related services on time and within budget, in an ethical manner at all times, in accordance with procedures

· Provide support to the Commercial Manager, SCM and ADM in client facing activities including representation to expressway team up to and including MRPSC.

· Attend Commercial meetings and provide support to the Project Managers

Salary is QAR 55k + car
