Our client, a multinational IT company is currently seeking to recruit a Security Operations Manager

This position has first line supervisory, managerial and general operations responsibility of security operations. The position’s day-to-day responsibilities include security analyst and administrator employee supervision, customer relations, workload management, and customer interaction including handling escalated issues and providing guidance on customer issues. This position will also act as a formal point of contact and escalation within the security operations organization. This position will work closely with peers and management to insure effective consistent service delivery leveraging ongoing task analysis and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line supervision to direct report staff

• Maintain employee performance tracking

• Develop and maintain personnel training plans

• Monitoring workload and priority levels

• Monitoring and managing ticket and call queues

• Prioritize/align shift resources to insure that the most urgent and important issues first

• Develop and train staff on new procedures as necessary

• Insure that published processes and procedures are adhered to by staff

• Provide proper documentation of internal and external exceptions

• Insure that customer and internal issues are properly resolved or escalated

• Interact with other operations teams to insure continual process improvement and world class customer service is provided

• Coordinate with and assist security engineering and administration in the support of the security-related infrastructure in scope
