Quality Engineer Information Technology and Service or Digital Security Controls background or Industrial/Manufacturing Handle Customer Complaint management Develop & implement new quality control processes Create business requests for new software & equipment Work with floor supervisors and operators to follow quality standards during production Evaluate and disposition Non-Conforming Product on manufacturing floor Comprehensive database management for Non-Conforming Product & migration with SharePoint Train employees on Quality standards Responsible for the maintenance of the quality management system Internal quality auditor for the ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 systems QMS Internal Auditor Trainer Team Leader for Change Management Board (process change management) ISO Process Leader for Calibration Program Established Process Reliability Program Conduct Supplier audits Manage Customer Complaint system and associated root cause analysis & corrective actions Review, update and maintain all raw material specifications and external specifications Qualify new raw materials Standardize all quality test methods, including incoming test methods Create Product Repository database, listing all approved raw materials, combinations and production parameters Lead implementation of Statistical Process Control in all production areas Analyze customer complaints, nonconforming products, calibration and related customer satisfaction data for trends Implement Technology data repository Team member for new ERP system implementation Lead ISO 9001 AND ISO 14001 surveillance audits - Review production and quality data to control and improve processes, provide support and resolve limitation/bottlenecks. - Maintain the customer complaint database and support 8D analysis to the appropriate area owners. - Recommend, review and implement specification revisions and quality standards related to process control, sampling and statistical techniques - Evaluate the results of sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques continuously to enable timely corrective actions and to ensure adherence to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification standards - Analyze and review processes to recommend quality process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques - Train other employees in the use of quality applications or tools as required - Perform other duties as assigned SKILLS - Demonstrate analytical skills and critical thinking ability - Ability to use deductive reasoning and potential problem analysis - Ability to exchange information effectively, both orally and in writing - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment - Ability to multi task, prioritize and establish a workflow Must have excellent decision-making capabilities and a willingness to take initiative Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access and/or other database software and the ability to produce charts and reports from the data Ability and desire to communicate ideas to improve both the quality and manufacturing processes PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Time will be split between an office environment and the production area; the production area can be noisy (though below 85 decibels) and will require the use of personal protective equipment (safety glasses) as dictated by local policy Must be able to spend most of the workday focusing on computer screen and utilizing a keyboard
