Corporate Sales Director - The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh


Responsible for executing the property’s corporate sales strategy and achieving revenue goals. Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to corporate sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Achieves personal sales goals and makes recommendations on sales goals of direct reports.



CORE WORK ACTIVITIES



Executing Sales Strategies



• Works with sales leader to ensure understanding of corporate sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy. • Implements and sustains aggressive solicitation program focused on increasing business. • Assists in creating and implementing a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and the market for the segment led by the Director of Sales. • Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.



Maximizing Revenue



• Provides positive and aggressive leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential (e.g., sets example with personal sales goals). • Recommends sales goals for direct reports.



Managing Sales Activities



• Monitors all day-to-day activities of direct reports. • Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business. • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).



Analyzing & Reporting on Sales and Financial Data



• Analyzes market information by using sales systems and implements strategy to achieve property’s financial goals. • Assists Revenue Management with completing accurate six period projections. • Reviews guest satisfaction results to identify areas of improvement.



Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service



• Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies customer service and creates a positive example for guest relations. • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels. • Meets with guests during pre- and post-convention meetings to obtain feedback on quality of product (e.g., rooms, meeting facilities and equipment, food and beverage), service levels, execution against contract and overall satisfaction. • Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service. • Observes service behaviors of employees and provides feedback to individuals and/or managers. • Incorporates guest satisfaction as a component of department meetings with a focus on continuous improvement. • Ensures that a customer recognition program is in effect throughout Sales. • Executes and supports Customer Service Standards and property’s brand standards. • Participates in and practices daily service basics of the brand. • Executes exemplary customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by assisting the customer and ensuring their satisfaction before and during their program/event. • Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations, while building a relationship and loyalty. • Gains understanding of the property’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solutions.

Deliver newspapers (Security delivers if houseman has a different schedule) to the Residences owner/tenants and guests on the overnight shift. Deliver packages, laundry, dry-cleaning etc. to the Residences owner/tenants and guests. Man the service elevator as required. Transport luggage and groceries to and from units and other areas. Perform and document periodic inspections of the building and grounds for safety issues, physical appearance and maintenance conditions. Remove trash from each Residences floor and the compactor rooms to the loading dock. Comply with all recycling mandates. Maintain inventory of supplies, and materials and balance so that inventory levels meet demand levels. Perform and adhere to the prescribed scheduled service routines for the areas or items assigned to you. Maintain the overall appearance and prescribed maintenance for the following areas that include, but is not limited to: Lobbies, Vestibules and Corridors; Stairwells and Landings; Elevator Cabs; Interior Service and Common Areas; Exterior Walkways, Drive Through Area, Loading and Storage areas; Landscape Grounds Maintenance; Waste removal/storage areas; Windows and any other common areas in the Building. Post caution signs to limit traffic when necessary. Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs. Respond promptly to requests from Residences owner /guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Maintain the daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly checklist and present to the Management office on a regular basis. Perform emergency response service actions (e.g. snow and ice removal, plumbing, fire incidences follow-up) when requested by management.

Identify, investigate and rectify routine errors and anomalies in input data in order to ensure accuracy of financial information



Analyze ledgers and accounts to allow the reconciliation of financial data according to stated schedules so that the company remains aware of its financial position on an ongoing basis and statutory reports can be produced within legislative time limits



Monitor accounting procedural compliance by subordinates and employees in order to ensure that all systems are adhered to



Report major problems and areas of non-compliance to the hierarchy in order to ensure that a high level of accounting management and control is maintained and that issues are resolved in a timely manner

GIS DATA MANAGER - Tarba Solutions


BASIC FUNCTION:



This position is for the management of a Geographic Information System (GIS), which will be utilized to design, assess, and manage telecommunications networks and to accurately locate network outages. The Data Manager will be responsible for uploading data into a GIS application and populating all GIS attribute data as appropriate. The successful candidate will also manage and maintain the integrity of the GIS database as well as enhance the GIS application to meet priority requirements.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



The incumbent is responsible for GIS (Geographic Information System) systems design and timely deliveries to network teams for their use.



MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:



- Manage and maintain a GIS database to include daily updates and input of information retrieved from field engineers.



- Update all required GIS attribute fields and perform quality assessment and quality control on produced data.



- Conversion of all required AutoCAD and other types of files into GIS.



- Enhance GIS application functionalities to include the integration of network risk management planning: (mitigation of risk of outage, preparation for an outage, response, and recovery).



- Prepare short term Business Plan for data updates.



- Use spatially enabled data such as georeferenced DGNs, images, spreadsheets or other GIS data in order to identify locations of outages or other potentially problematic areas.



- Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, drawings, records and as-built documents related to the project in close coordination with the GIS team.



- Use wide range of coordinate systems and projections for achieving spatial accuracy and provide support to all stakeholders.



- Understanding of GIS data policies, systems, processes, procedures and standards to ensure the consistent performance and service delivery.



- Respond promptly to internal and external customers
