Manager - Corporate Development - Dubai Airports

About the Department:

The Strategy and Development department are responsible for the future of Dubai Airports and it's vision of remaining the world's number one.

Corporate Development department facilitates and participates in the efforts, knowledge and investment so that Dubai Airports can be a capable organization with efficient resources and systems to deliver our services.

About the Role:

You will manage the corporate development programs alongside with all relevant programs leads, project managers and Subject Matter Experts including the consultants in a stakeholder. The Corporate Development Manager will adopt a coordinated approach to ensure effective delivery of all program, projects and to achieve the program defined and agreed milestones that should support the strategic plan.

You will work closely with all related program leads and/or project managers and will be responsible for efficient and effective program/project planning and delivery. Ensure full alignment and integration between program/projects objectives vs. Dubai Airports corporate objectives

About the job:

* Handle all incoming telephone communications, stating reasons for call and forwarding to relevant team members.

* Provide excellent customer service as per company policy and procedures.

* Resolving customer queries promptly within company guidelines before escalating to higher level if necessary.

* Attend to customer needs and understand their requirements so that maximum number of enquiries are handled quickly and forwarded to the concerned personnel.

* Logging of calls (including time, date and caller details).

* Maintain an up to date knowledge of personnel and procedures.

* Deal with 'drop in' customers as quickly and proficiently as possible by coordinating with employees and customers.

Senior Internal Auditor - Operational Risk - KSA CP - M.H. Alshaya Co.

Our Internal Audit Team tests the adequacy of accounting, operational and technology controls across all divisions and functions ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, standards and applicable regulations. The team consists of audit professionals focusing on financial, operational and technology audit activities. The audits for the year are scheduled, based on risk assessments and management requests. These audits work across brands and regions giving the team exposure to a number of sectors and a large variety of audit scopes and objectives. The output of our audit activity is captured in action plans and recommendations that form the basis of business improvements and initiatives.

The Role:

The Senior Internal Auditor conducts reviews of organisational and functional activities according to the annual Audit Plan, ensuring that satisfactory management, administrative and operational risk controls are in place to facilitate compliance with established company policies.

You will work across brands and regions gaining exposure to a number of sectors and a large variety of audit scopes and objectives, providing reports and recommendations to form the basis of business improvements and initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

You will have/be:

A professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or CIA) or equivalent

At least 5 years' relevant internal/external audit experience

Had exposure to a retail environment (preferable)

Fluent in written and verbal English

Good report writing skills

Working knowledge of ACL, Workmate and Oracle (an advantage).

Health and Safety Manager - Loss Prevention - Kuwait - M.H. Alshaya Co.

The Role:

You will work within a specific large single-site Alshaya brand ensuring the safety and security of employees, customers, visitors and neighboring businesses through structured and formalised risk assessment and prevention measures.

Specifically you will:

Monitor the environmental conditions for both staff and customers, evaluating and mitigating risk while implementing safety and security programmes

Be responsible for all aspects of fire precautions, evacuations and preventive maintenance for fire control

Implement security and hygiene programs

Review and analyse reports and data to understand and communicate risks and drive activity

Overseeing the Medical Service's activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

At least 5 years' experience in health & safety and/or civil protection

NEBOSH certification or equivalent -M.A. in civil protection desirable

Knowledge of fire and security systems, emergency evacuation procedures and alarms

A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risk.

About your job:

The purpose of this role is to work in close cooperation with all relevant Third Parties to develop suitable Operational Solutions. The strategic and tactical aim is to plan, develop and implement improvement solutions which help Third Parties to excel.
