Responsible for preparing the company’s short and long term business planning and budgeting processes and monitor actual performance against plans and budgets. Working with, and supporting, directors in the preparation and interpretation of a wide variety of financial reports.

• Prepare the company’s Objectives, Draft Profit Planning based on the provisional business projections for management approval.
• Responsible for coordinating the process and preparing the long range (3 -5 years) Business Plan and Annual Budget for the company as well as for the Finance Divisional budget.
• Monitor budget activities for the company and projects to determine total funding requirements, and report actual expenditure against those budgets.
• Arrange to collect and compile relevant business projections from all Divisions.
• Verify the Budget inputs, review, compile and consolidate the projected financials of all Divisions.
• Preparation of individual Division budgets containing projected Profit and Loss Accounts for the year on a monthly basis.
• Identify, evaluate and review weaknesses in the operating and capital budgets, and make recommendations to rectify those weaknesses.
• Support Division Directors in the production of budgets and financial reports, ensuring they have all of the specialist accounting inputs to produce accurate and realistic plans in the correct format.
• To give necessary assistance to the Managers for making business forecast and income projections in connection with the budget exercise.
• Benchmarking analysis with other mobile phone businesses.
• Manage cash management team.
• Prepare monthly management reports, including short and medium term forecasts, for submission to the Director, Finance, ensuring the key financial deviations to Budget or Business Plan and trends are highlighted for further consideration.
• Collect relevant financial and performance information relating to the activities of each Division in order to compile monthly performance and variance analysis for the preparation of Management Financial Reports, including monthly reports to the headquarters.
• Prepare full year forecast every quarter.
