1 Sources the most affordable materials for the company's purchasing process;

2 Reviews and evaluates the quotations and proposals of suppliers and sub-contractors compare with project specification

3 Facilitates negotiation of prices and terms of conditions for the goods/services to be procured to ensure that company's interests are best represented and best offers are received;

4 Supervises delivery of goods purchased through proper coordination with the site storekeepers;

5 Liaises between Company and suppliers to resolve any logistics related issues;

6 Ensures that any initiated requests for procurements are in line with the approved unit budget or facilitate the approval process;

7 Coordinates with the Purchasing Officer to make sure that the delivery is on time especially due to the urgency; and

8 Reports directly to the Projects Director and General Manager for selecting the supplier/ subcontractor by providing proper project specification .
