BASIC JOB FUNCTION

The Communications Manager is responsible for the development and effective implementation of all media strategies and public relations for the positioning and promotion of the {{property}}.

To expand the profile of the resort in the media in order to increase the awareness and exposure of the property and its activities to all target audiences regionally, nationally and Internationally.

Development of effective and timely production of publications, seasonal brochures, weekly programmes and any other material required, and adhere to guidelines and deadlines as set out by Corporate Marketing.

Ensures adherence to the CI/CD.

Assist with sales and marketing activities for the leisure market covering but not limited to trade exhibition attendance, relationship building and managing promotions with travel industry bodies from the private and public sectors.

Actively pursue and organise press trips and familiarisation trips.

Conducts house tours.

Create marketing and communications campaigns to pro-actively promote the property.

To contribute to team work and to ensure that each client is handled appropriately, inspiring them to return for future business.
