Country Manager - Olayan Foods ME


A Country Manager (CM) job involves working to manage operations, develop business and increase profitability for the company. The key purpose of CM's role is to drive operational excellence, efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction thru the mentoring/development of a strong Operations Team.



CM duties and responsibilities include:



• Mentor and develop all the Operation Managers (OM) in order to increase restaurant profitability through customer satisfaction and to drive operations excellence



• Assist OM with annual business planning process, establishing and realizing performance objectives, KPI’s, meaningful development and succession plans



• Monitor progress towards objectives and development plans on a quarterly basis, placing an emphasis on results versus activities and development of sound business acumen. Conduct annual performance reviews and informal performance appraisals as appropriate



• Provide input to the development process regarding the assessment of high potential employees and the identification of appropriate career paths and succession plans for OM within the country



• Ensure execution of operating standards that optimize returns on assets and increase sales and profitability



• Manage and oversee new restaurant openings, project rollouts, equipment replacements, test programs, and supplier relations



• Work with all other departments to determine necessary actions on all support functions, to ensure that restaurants are serviced in timely manner, and analyze restaurant performance to improve day-to-day operations



• Maintain Key Relations with Finance, HR, ADMIN, Maintenance and Development in managing support for Operations



• Support and manage Operations Team towards the achievement of their targets and previously set common goals (sales growth/ARS)



• Define overall key strategy and targets to be achieved by Operations Team



• Strategic planning and resource allocation across the Brand



• Devise and track monthly/annual sales budget and forecasting



• PNL Management



• Capture Brand leadership (sales and marketing) and smooth operation in the region/country



• Ensure all members of Operations Team are maintaining the high-level of Brand operation standards
