Business Development Coordinator - Thinkwell Group, Inc. (Abu Dhabi Media Zone Branch)


General Background: Thinkwell Group, Inc. Media Zone Abu Dhabi Branch (the “TWG AD”) is a branch office of Thinkwell’s Head office that is located in Burbank, California, USA. TWG AD is responsible to represent Thinkwell in the following markets: Middle East, Europe, and Africa (the “EMEA”) Primary Functions & Responsibilities: • As an Associate, Business Development at TWG AD the core responsibilities are as follow: 1. Assist in translating Thinkwell’s vision and goals into proactive business development plans for the EMEA that supports revenue generation. 2. Coordinating the departmental activities in the EMEA with accountability to the Director, Business Development for yearly goals/outcomes and progressive revenue targets. 3. Coordinating all phases of the development and production of new business proposals and presentations for the EMEA. 4. Assist in the writing/editing and distribution of RFQ/RFP responses for the EMEA. (Includes drafting proposal responses yourself and coordinating with relevant resources in the UAE and US office). 5. Assist in maintaining Business Development pipeline for the EMEA in Thinkwell’s designated CRM software (You will be trained by Thinkwell on Deltek, Vision.) Departmental Assistance 1. Maintain the New Business Development (NBD) Calendar (update/track meetings, conferences, awards and deadlines as needed) 2. Schedule meetings needed for members of the NBD team 3. Arrange/coordinate sales related- travel (flight, hotel, registration, transportation, etc.) 4. Scanning and prepping scanned files for NBD use (i.e. articles) 5. Maintain inventory of NBD supplies including, gifts, gift wrap, shipping supplies etc. 6. Create and maintain filing systems (both paper and electronic) 7. Process New Business Development Expense Reports. 8. Coordinate the production of TWG AD printed sales/marketing materials as needed. 9. Assist in maintaining the archives of TWG AD NBD efforts including articles & advertising. 10. Answer TWG AD company phone calls when needed. 11. Create & Design Keynotes for marketing/ sales-related presentations. 12. Coordinate holiday card preparation and mailing. Marketing 1. Prepare marketing materials (print & bind books, keep stock of DVD’s update resources as needed) 2. Assist with all marketing mail-out transactions (tracking and status). 3. Maintain the Marketing Images & Presentations folders 4. Help create marketing materials in a timely manner. 5. Responsible for the physical preparation and maintenance of capabilities books and other marketing collateral we create/stock. 6. Assist in writing and editing of project profile sheets, and other marketing materials 7. Design & Update the Keynotes on marketing folder& keynote folder on the company server. 8. Assist with email marketing campaigns 9. Assist with writing press releases 10. Assist with sourcing of promotional materials Expectation of Core Competencies 1. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and requirements and willingness to handle any detail, no matter how small, to deliver results. 3. Team player who is proactive, self-directed and collaborative; willing to work in an entrepreneurial environment where roles and titles are less important than results. 4. Education - BA or higher 5. Excellent writing/grammar/proofreading skills 6. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and aptitude to learn new software. 7. Strong graphic design sensibility 8. Familiarity with both Mac & PC formats 9. Familiarity with the following software program: • In Design • Keynote 08 or Higher • Adobe Illustrator • Adobe Photoshop 10. Strong research skills 11. Excellent phone skills 12. Detail oriented and adaptable
