About E&A - Construction Supervision
This role is required by Engineering & Architecture (DAR E & A) - Construction Supervision Division.
E & A - Construction Supervision is one of the main divisions of Dar Al Riyadh Group which was established to meet the rising demand for program management and construction supervision. We provide services for clients with multi-projects which often have a long duration and a total construction value that run into billions of Saudi Riyals.
Through planning, organizing, securing and managing resources DAR brings about the successful completion of a projects goals and objectives. DAR not only honors project constraints, but equally focuses on high quality services and techniques to achieve its clients satisfaction.
About the Job:
Review the implementation time schedules which are periodically issued by the Contractor for each sub-project regarding match with the actual progress and achievement of the planned progress.
Present the progress as planned and achieved by the Contractor in form of tables and S-curves for each sub-project and also for the total project (weighted average).
Determines critical-path activities for assigned discipline or specialties and identifies significant activities supporting inter- discipline requirements and identifies critical path for discipline or specialty work activities.
Overall planning and monitoring of resource, cost, material and machinery for using the project management tools.
Reviewing and approving contractor’s work program submissions.
Reviews schedule data, identifies and acquires information needed to complete work logics to interface between assigned disciplines, specialties and/or projects.
Establishes and implements methods for determining activity durations within assigned disciplines or specialties.
Identifies, analyzes and monitors schedule deviations for assigned disciplines or specialties including subcontractor submittals and recommends corrective action/work-around solutions for project considerations.
Overseeing actual project progress versus the planned work milestones
Develops and writes the schedule commentary that appears in the monthly progress and similar reports.
Identifies and reports activities that have a critical or potential impact on the schedule and prepares and presents the Critical Items Action Report.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate under the direction of the Lead Planning Engineer.
