A European power contractor is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to work on large scale power projects in the UAE. The position is based in there head office in Abu Dhabi with regular site visits necessary.

Job Responsibilities

• You will have to supervise a team and provide guidance and support to the team.

• Produce and present accurate reports to the Contracts Director.

• Ensure that support is given to the contracts administrators and the quantity surveyors.

• Protect all commercial interests of the company are protected and are the number one priority.

• Effectively consider the financial aspects of all contracts.

• Perform accurate reviews of the projects to make sure all contracts administration activities are completed to standard.

• Identify key areas of concern and change dispute that may come about during the project and then liaise with the projects team.

• Prepare and develop contract administration standards, guidelines and procedures.

• Perform all new contracts review from different departments including estimating and tender departments.

• Have the ability to quickly escalate any contracts issues.

• Develop prime contracts in relation to being a strategic partner.

• Assist in the interviewing and hiring of the contracts team.
