POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for the implementation of strategy execution of service parts delivery. This role will also have significant operational accountability for managing service parts usage and having the right part, in the right place, at the right time, at the best possible cost. Customer Delight with NCR’s ability to service products when a part is needed within financial controls is a key success factor of this role.

This position can be accountable for up to $80 million in service material assets and a multimillion dollar budget. The organization totals more than 35 full time team members and a global scope.

Position Summary:

This position has several critical responsibilities:

• Minimize the asset investment in inventory while ensuring NCR is able to meet service levels contracted with our Customers.

• Understand, position, and develop Service Parts in the value creation chain of NCR Services for internal and external customers.

• Drive down service parts operations costs through both continuous improvements in productivity and implementation of business model breakthrough initiatives.

• Partner with the Regional VP and Lines of Business VP’s and their respective Leadership Teams on initiatives to reduce usage

• Execute the make vs. buy (insource/outsource) methodology for the region The primary of this role objective is to optimize NCR’s Service Parts investment and costs within a regional geography while increasing Customer’s delight with NCR Services, in order to gain a competitive advantage over our competition. Key Responsibilities: Strategy:

• Set quantitative and qualitative goals and parameters for NCR Regional Services Parts Operations which drives best in class performance.

• Develop delivery models that take into account geographical constraints that affect costs and turn-around-times

• Establish a cadence of on-going productivity and cost improvement through Continuous Improvement Operations:

• Fact based leadership with a premium on action and closure

• Drive day-to-day execution on service material fulfillment for meeting customer needs

• Recommend service parts acquisition funnel to ensure prudent asset investments

• Execute continuous improvement on quality and compliance to processes Development of Operational Team:

• Attract, retain and develop needed talent to build world class regions service parts operation

• Coach and mentor managers developing them as leaders and business owners of their functions and teams

• Create a collaborative environment between the parts operations and the regional services team to ensure tight linkage on performance levels and ensure an atmosphere of joint accountability across NCR Services for the region

• Develop a CI culture through the use of tools and methodologies.

• Create an environment at encourages innovation and recognizes both team and individuals high level of contributions while holding all team members accountable for their contributions in relation to goals/objectives
