Modern Trade Sales Representative - Gandour Career Site


• Achieve sales, coverage, distribution, and visibility targets for each product and/or brand as per approved sales forecast.



• Develop, sell and issue suggested orders to the customers’ according to their stocks and movement to ensure no out of stocks or overstocks and execute phase out and liquidation plans with customers to have smooth products’ transition.



• Report on daily and weekly sales activities to Sales Supervisor.



• Maintain an updated and accurate sales files and reports as requested by management.



• Execute in promotional and special marketing initiatives in stores, including strategic alignment and negotiations with costumers.



• Collect all receivables related to assigned accounts in a timely manner.



• Monitor competitors’ prices and any special promotional campaigns and report observations and findings to sales and marketing departments.



• Handle customer issues and resolve any problems whenever possible or escalate them to the responsible manager to ensure they are dealt with effectively.



• Implement sales fundamentals to ensure core distribution availability, contracted visibility and shelving shares and suggested retail pricing implementation to achieve his overall targets.



• Manage allocated budgets and offers to guaranty accounts’ fair share distribution without exceeding allocation. Build strong customer penetration to establish/maintain the company’s position as the preferred supplier.



• Monitor the Merchandisers on daily basis to ensure getting maximum productivity.



• Suggest ideas to positively impact the business directly or indirectly.



• Apply company payment terms with all customers guarantying the company’s cash flow.



• Actively participate in the morning and unit meetings by sharing section success models.



• Report all market studies needed (distribution, competition…).



• Prepare for MT contract negotiation to maximize space allocation and minimize cost on company.



• Monitor the implementation of the signed contracts to make sure all commitments from both ends are executed.
