• Assist the SCBS in conducting a comprehensive capacity building and training needs assessment covering potential program partners and stakeholders under specific programmatic components;

• Under the supervision of the SCBS, conduct interviews and participatory planning sessions that would include program International Implementing Partners (IIPs) and local IPs, potential CSSCs and CSOs, Women’s Groups, potential grantees in the areas of: Policy and legislative Monitoring and research, civic education, combating sexual gender-based violence, and human rights and transitional justice.

• Provide assistance to the SCBS to develop a strategic vision for the Capacity Building objective for the program.

• Assist SCBS to provide clear guidelines and tools to integrate program capacity building activities and at the same time prevent duplicating project resources and efforts.

• Support the SCBS in Developing a Capacity Building plan that will include at a minimum:

o Total number of Targeted Trainees

o Training topics/themes

o Geographic Locations of trainings

o Specific Targeted Group

• Work closely with the SCBS to develop capacity building related activities and deliverables.
