Accountant

Beorol has an immediate need for an experienced Accountant familiar with product manufacturing and sales. The Accountant is primarily responsible for the day to day accounting activities; supervise purchasing, accurate general ledger system records and facilitating timely month-end and year-end closings. An understanding of Cost Accounting and Inventory is important. The Accountant reports directly to the local UAE General Manager with dotted line reporting to Company Headquarters. Ideal candidate must have demonstrated initiative and have documented accomplishments. The ability and willingness to learn and backup all aspects of the department is important.

To be a strong fit for the Accountant role, you will need to be familiar with:

• Invoicing

• Accounts Payable

• Collections

• Month-end close

• Reconciliations

• Period end closing activities

• Assist with special project and analyses

• Inventory reconciliation

• Documenting policies and procedures in order to improve transaction efficiencies

• Audit preparation

• Ensure consistent compliance with policies and procedures

Additionally you will have:

• 5 or more years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Working knowledge of accounting procedures and internal controls

• Excel skills-intermediate to advanced

• Excellent organizational skills required

• Team player

• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
