Abu Dhabi Gas Industries, GASCO, was first born out of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s vision for the utilization of the United Arab Emirates’ vast gas resources. The company was incorporated in 1978 as a joint venture between ADNOC, Shell, Total and Partex. Our first plant became fully operational in 1981.
