Strategy Program Manager


A leading Healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Program Manager to work within its Strategy and Organisational Development Division.







The postholder will join an expanding team which has been established to execute and monitor robust program management arrangements across a range of transformation projects.







The postholder will need to have strong experience and understanding of program and change management in a healthcare setting and be experienced in developing positive, professional and trusting working relationships across a range of stakeholders.







The postholder will also have a proven ability to deliver timely performance with energy and take responsibility and accountability for quality outcomes with a firm focus on prioritizing and addressing issues fairly and promptly. The candidate will demonstrate the dynamism and drive to encourage colleagues to perform effectively during large scale change.







Key responsibilities will be as follows:-



Working closely with the Service Development Program Managers & Enabler Project Managers to ensure that they have systems & processes in place to deliver their full contribution to corporate reporting;



Collaborating with all directorates to ensure that there is collective "buy in" to overall program and project Management arrangements and a team approach to overcoming challenges;



Ensuring process for the control and identification of risks and issues and management within the program; and ensuring relevant leads have early warnings of risks;



Ensuring that the discussions about risk identification and management of the risks take place at the right time and at the right level within the organization;



The incumbent will be responsible for Quality Assurance of Program & Project Management reports before they are considered by the AMD-Strategy &OD and for ensuring that quality assurance skills are developed throughout the Corporation;



Drafting program strategy dashboard;



Managing the cycle of reporting on strategy to PHCCs program level meetings and to external program assurance meetings, ensuring that all committees are fully supported in fulfilling their roles in relation to the strategy.
