EMPLOYMENT STATUS

This is Full Time position based in Dubai.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage a team of 4-6 individuals for Middle East and Asia Pacific revenue processes

Directly responsible in ensuring that Revenue accruals and actual are prepared in line with Company Policy, standard processes and Accounting rules and conventions. This includes journal reviews of month end adjustments and accruals and other adjustments/accruals as required. Ensuring the related costs of revenue and other associated accounting entries are correctly posted.

Lead the Revenue accrual harvesting project for Middle East and Asia Pacific countries in scope to source accruals directly from SAP. Coordinate with Billing, Op., FP&A and Q2C team as required

Lead the contract harvesting projects. Interact with Ops, FP&A, Legal and other counterparts to make it a success

Engage and lead global projects as per requirement- New FASB revenue recognition project, contract database project, JV automation etc.

Set up contract validation structure, standard templates and processes and executing the task and ensuring compliance of accounting with contract clauses.

Lead mid-month sampling and validation process including contract validation. Variance analysis during month to identify differences from accrual to actual numbers and correcting errors. Tracing the source of any errors and putting in place measure to stop re-occurrences. Contact relevant Customer Services / Country Accounting Center personnel to highlight significant variance to accrual to further ensure no errors on actuals have occurred. Implement best practices in RAC and standard processes which benchmark global best practices.

Assist and support other EFO teams/groups as required

Work closely with External and Internal Auditors to assist in completion of all audits.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

10+yrs of experience in Accounting, Finance focusing on Revenue

5+yrs of experience in supervisory position

Must be Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

Must have extensive experience working with an Oilfield Services company

Experience with SAP is highly desired

Excellent communication skills
