SSH are committed to the development of its IT infrastructure, recognising the critical significance IT can provide the business. There are several IT projects planned over the next few years. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and driven IT Director to join a high profile design & construction services consultancy and a strong brand to become an integral part of the company’s success.

Duties and responsibilities will include

- Act as a technical and commercial point of ‘know-how’ for service related requests from the Business.

- Engage with business through ITSC to establish current and future priorities, objectives and challenges.

- Regular reporting of projects to the business.

- Prepare the IT strategy to guarantee the technology and capacity capability to meet the business objectives.

- Prepare the IT services business plan to

- Chair project meetings and attend strategic interface meetings

- Manage a library contract of information and a service risk register, ensuring that records are maintained and information circulated in a timely manner.

- Manage the financial aspects of contracts, ensure that actual and forecast spend is tracked against budget and manage variances in conjunction with the -Project Controls Director.

- Define and implement a service/relationship/contract management framework to manage both in-house and external service providers.

- Deliver the overall contract services (in-house and external) via active monitoring and management of service provider(s) contractual obligations, escalation and formulation of alternative approaches (in case of service problems).

- Assist the Business Controls Director & Finance Director to plan and define their IT budgets and obtain sign off by the business.

- Achieve ISO 27001 certification.
