Project Coordinator - Right To Play International
The Project Coordinator (PC) reports directly to the Project Manager, Learning, Empowerment and Play (LEAP) project and is responsible for coordinating the implementation of LEAP project’s activities in one of the project’s locations.
In accordance with Right To Play (RTP) approved policies and procedures, the employee:
1. Activity Implementation:
• Facilitates regular sport and play activities in RTP modules.
• Delivers training to School Teachers, and Trainers of partner-organizations’ staff & volunteers.
• Encourages and supports local coach-led initiatives.
• Coordinates with trained coaches to develop activities’ schedules.
• Coordinates with partners to monitor activities of trained coaches and trainers.
• Conducts and organizes special event activities, play days and sport tournaments Conduct regular field visits to monitor program implementation

2. Training:
• Builds individual and organizational capacity of local implementing partners to utilize sport and play as tools to achieve child development.
• Assists in developing appropriate training curricula and supporting resources.
• Delivers workshops in RTP program modules for organizational partners/ beneficiaries.
• Assesses ongoing training needs, leads evaluations and provides support to local coaches

3. Project Management and Administration:
• Ensures local implementation of MoU’s and agreements with local representation of Government, UN Agencies and International/Local NGOs and CBOs.
• Ensures partners are in compliance with RTP’s Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy.
• Develops monthly and annual training schedules for coaches/leaders in the assigned community.
• Assesses the number of teachers, coaches, trainers that could apply the RTP Modules after having appropriate training and provides advice on the number of beneficiaries.
• Contributes to the preparation of operational plans and budgets.
• Responsible and accountable for implementation and daily finances of specific activities in a project location.
• Responsible for office fixed assets and inventory in project locations as well as project vehicles including maintenance, fuel log, etc...
• Responsible and accountable for effective project/activity spending according to the approved budget.
• Ensures accurate and transparent reporting that highlights follow up and action such as weekly project brief and shares all project related activities and information of stakeholders with the PM.
• Supports the PM in preparing quality narrative and analytical reports.
• Drafts petty cash monthly financial report and provide proper documentation
• Provides updates of lessons learned and best practices to the PM and reports on progress and challenges as they arise.
• Follows up on logistic, administrative and other related issues as needed. 20%
4. Monitoring & Evaluation:
• Participates and supports the implementation of the Participation Monitoring System.
• Monitors and evaluates the implementation of local resources and training.
• Assists Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (MEO) in conducting baseline assessments for the LEAP project and as required during project expansion.
• Ensures accurate collection and timely submission of quantitative monitoring information according to Right To Play monitoring tools.

5. Partnerships:
• Conducts an assessment survey to determine the NGOs that RTP could partner with in its area of work.
• Participates in regular partner and beneficiaries meeting, and report back to the PM.
• Supports the PM to secure formal partnerships for effective implementation of the LEAP project.
• Establishes and maintains local relationships with representations of the Government, UN Agencies, Local, National and International NGO’s in the project location and represents Right To Play in partner and coordination meetings.
