The Chief Accountant is responsible for the entire accounting cycle.

Responsible for the supervision and control of the general payables, payroll, all kind of taxes, budget reporting, and statistical accumulation, etc

Prepare NSSF, VAT & all taxes & Tax filing reports

Organize and perform the year end closing activities

Coordinate with the auditors, internal controllers and insures the fulfillment of all their requests.

Apply a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations issued by official institutions (taxation, NSSF, municipalities, …); verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies

Implement IFRS standards

Establish charts of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts

Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems

Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems, making use of current software used

Constantly work towards issuing accurate and useful reports to management

Control periodically physical inventory versus system inventory
