Technical Instructor - Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic

OVERVIEW

Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic (SESP) is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and began training operations in September 2012. Presently, there are three SESP training centers in operation: SESP-Baish located in Jizan Province, SESP-Juaymah located near Dammam in the Eastern Province and SESP-Riyadh in the Central Province. SESP plans to open SESP-Jouf in the Northern Province in early 2015. SESP's operational headquarters are located at SESP-Juaymah.

Trainees at each SESP campus study English, Health and Safety, Science, Mathematics and various technical disciplines during their two-year study program. All of the trainees are either high school or technical college graduates and study for 30 contact periods per week. Class sizes average between 15-17 trainees. The curriculum including testing and measuring is based on a 14-week trimester system (SESP-Baish campus only) or a 10-week quarter system with breaks between each training cycle.

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTORS

SESP is seeking - preferably from Saudi nationals and others - full applications from qualified Technical Instructors for our training centers in SESP-Baish and SESP-Juaymah, teaching on the one year programme of technical training in mechanical and electrical engineering.

Students in the second year of the programme will study one of the 10 specializations listed below.

(1) Power Plant Maintenance Technical Electric

(2) Power Plant Maintenance Technical Mechanical

(3) Power Plant Technician Instrumentation Measurement and Control

(4) Transmission/Distribution Protection Relay Technician

(5) Transmission Power Service Technicians (Substations)

(6) Distribution Network Operator (Electrical Network Operation)

(7) Cable Splicing (Jointing)

(8) Power Plant Operation Combined Cycle

(9) Electrical Power Cables (Jointing)

(10) Overhead Lines (Construction & Maintenance)

Assignments are for one-year initially with renewable contracts upon mutual agreement; however, serious consideration will be given to candidates willing to commit to a two-year assignment.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Annual salary: SAR 300,000.00

• Local transportation allowance

• Furnished shared accommodation provided at SESP-Baish campus only

• Housing allowance at all other campuses

• One-time relocation allowance

• Annual flight provision prorated monthly

• Annual leave provision: 21 working days plus public holidays

• Private medical insurance

• Initial one-way economy class flight to Saudi Arabia upon mobilization

IT Department Openings - Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic

Trainees at each SESP campus study English, Technical Bridging subjects such as health and safety, science, mathematics and various technical disciplines during their 2.5 years of study. Also included in their program is a six-month OJT training component. All of the trainees are either high school or technical college graduates and study for 30 contact periods per week. Class sizes average between 15-17 trainees per group. The curriculum is based on regulated training cycles throughout the year including periodic testing and measuring and breaks.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TEAM

SESP is seeking highly qualified applicants - preferably Saudi nationals and others - to join our Information Technology Team at our training centers in SESP-Baish, SESP-Juaymah and SESP-Riyadh. The Information Technology team member is responsible for handling the effective operational delivery of all IT functions.

Sales and Purchase Control Admin - Rocmet Corporation Group

DESPATCH:

- Chamber of Commerce, preparing online and arrange to collect the documents from chamber office.

- Preparation of export documents for GCC

- Co-ordination with transporters and drivers for loading and delivery

- Co-ordination/ communication with buyers

- Preparation of Proforma Invoice

- Preparation of Invoices and keeping proper records of the same.

- Co-ordination with clearing agents at Sila, Batha and truck drivers / transport agents

- Keeping track of all dispatches

- Checking of Transport Invoice, clearing agent’s charges, advance payment etc. to avoid

any overbilling or extra payments/ any deduction to be made.

DUTY EXEMPTION:

- Obtain Industrial License from Ministry of Economy

- Obtain Duty Exemption for Raw Material / Machineries imported

- Renewal of Industrial License on time.

- Any other jobs related with Ministry of Economy for Duty Exemption on Import/Export.

IMPORT:

- Communication/ sending enquiries to suppliers.

- Co-ordination with clearing and forwarding agents for DO and clearing documentation.

- Co-ordination with port authority for Bill of Entry clearance, HS Code approval etc.

- Co-ordination with materials collection point within DP World for Gate passes, Claim of any

short materials etc.

- Co-ordination with transporter & J. Ali port for lifting of material within the free time and avoid any extra charges.

- Sharjah Air Port Customs for clearing spare parts, obtain duty exemption approval etc.

PURCHASE:

- Placing orders as and when required/instructed for raw materials/spares/plant & equipment /any other items

- Communicating with suppliers, obtain quotations to compare prices/delivery etc.

- Order any type of Spare Parts / dies required for the machineries from abroad.

- Follow-up for timely delivery and clearing it from customs if needed.

Free Zones/ Labor Ministries:

- Visa & Residency Department

- Engineering Department

- Health, Safety & Environment Department

- Accounts Department

- Legal Department

- Customs & Security (as and when required)

Dealing with above departments for Visa related ( New Visa, Renewal, Cancellation, passport withdrawal, deposit, collection of IDs etc), Co. License renewal and related works, HSE clearance, any refund issue etc.
