1. Optimize Profitability and Profit growth by pursuing sound and consistent technical judgment

2. Manage and design appropriate Concrete Mixes in line with international standards and customer requirements

3. Optimize the Mix design through proper Research and Development

4. Verify and approve the periodic material testing’s are done as per established procedures and obtain customer approvals

5. Ensure the quality of Raw Materials in line with established standards

6. Interpretation of specification from Contractors

7. Maintain and improve product quality and ensure high degree of support services to customers

8. Instruct / Train the subordinates to Develop and Maintain necessary Documents

9. Verify daily inspection report and issuance of observation ensure Technical Department deal with the customer / site complaints on a day-to-day basis

10. Manage the team to prepare the following:

a. Standard Deviation for compressive test result and durability for internal and external specimens

b. Conduct Periodic Internal Calibration and uniformity test for each batching plant unit

11. Manage the team to review running mix designs in compliance with client requirements in terms of strength, durability, permeability, workability

12. Responsible to review mix design approved by Lab Supervisor and report any comment(s) before implementation of actual trial mix

13. Verify daily Field Inspection Report and do the necessary action

14. Supervising Lab / Site, Technicians, Unskilled Labors and conducting the performance appraisal

15. Responsible to approve the sources of Raw of Materials

16.Maintain a Good Relationship between third party Quality Control & consultant

17. Implement & Maintain quality System

18.Identify Job related training needs for technical personnel / field staff and arrange for such training

19. Ensure that the technical department is efficiently resourced with personnel & equipment

20.Opportunities for improvement or deficiencies in production technology are identified and appropriate actions are initiated

21.Ensure that staff strictly adheres to the requirements of the company Quality & HSE Management Procedures, laboratory operation guidelines

22.Develop and evaluate new products, Process technology and participate in the implementation of such Product/ Process

23.Liaise with Consultants on Quality related issues of Concrete &Liaise with related authorities for necessary approvals related with technical dept.
