Turnaround Site Team Leader - 28/28 Rotation, Rumailia IRAQ

We have an excellent job opportunity with our client who specializes in oil engineering, manufacturing, construction and lump-sum contracting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage and lead the shutdown team.

* Assist the client in the setting and approval of shutdown objectives, scope of

work and scheduling of all related tasks.

* Carry out risk assessments on high risk and critical path elements of the work scope.

* From experience build in measurable contingency plans.

* Ensure the work scope is fully resourced in manpower, equipment and materials.

* Identify in advance any engineering or modification work required by the client

during the shutdown period.

* Liaise with HSE manager to ensure a robust HSE Plan is in place and all high risk

task are identified, sub-contractors correctly inducted and strong permit to work

procedures are adhered too.

* Identify any additional PPE requirements and any specialist hazards such as

asbestos.

* Design an audit programme where you and your team seniors regularly carry

out HSE observation tours and this must cover the technical aspect such as

flange bolting, scaffold security and excavation protection.

* Liaise closely with the Planning and Project Support Manager to ensure all core

manpower and engineering resources are available against plan.

* Liaise closely with the Project Services Manager

Successful candidates must meet the below criteria:

* 15+ years experience in Petrochemical or Oil and Gas project /operations

* Engineering Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering- (Min 5 years overseas experience specially in GCC)

* Proven supervisory experience with excellent behaviour

* Maintenance Background
