Responsible for review of Civil/Site Drawings, supporting calculations and specifications. Provides a comprehensive design expertise on multi-disciplinary projects with a multidisciplinary team of Engineers providing a professional service to clients. - Plan, organize and arrange all the resources required for successful completion of the project as per drawings, specification within the time frame and budget. - Supervise the construction team to see that all the works are executed as per the approved drawings. - Undertake Quality Control inspections of all related works. - Should be responsible for enforcing safety during erection works, Should prepare the method of statement for scope under execution. - Coordinate with sub-contractors and other stake holders of the project for smooth performance of the project. - Initially to undertake the role of Concrete Inspector for Piling works, and to perform other engineering work and inspections on site as required. - Inspect the civil and structural materials delivered to the project site for compliance with approved materials data / samples. Ensure that testing of the materials is carried out in accordance with the project specifications and relevant codes/standards. Reject and ensure removal and replacement of non compliant materials. - Check quality of civil and structural works to ensure compliance with the contract specification requirements, method statements and approvals - Review and comment on contractors method statements, quality plans and safety plans. - Carry out regular periodic inspections at the site to ensure that safety standards are being maintained (. scaffolding, formwork, ladders, shoring, dewatering, etc.) - Ensure that subordinates on the site are fulfilling their duties correctly with respect to the day to day supervision of the civil works.
