• Place orders and provide needed support to internal customers to ensure completion of set logistics practices standards.

• Ensure with suppliers that products and documents are prepared according to schedules.

• Ensure that logistics policies and procedures are implemented appropriately.

• Follow up with suppliers, customers, forwarders, clearing agents, insurance brokers on all issues related to shipments.

• Manage logistics operations in order to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of organization cargoes.

• Compare shipping costs from different shipping lines / agents / forwarders and select the best one.

• Regular update of market import regulations.

• Report non-compliance issues to the Management ensuring timely resolution while maintaining high quality service level.

• Proper coordination with all internal departments.

• Prepare all documents for shipments, handle compliances work related to shipment/Logistics matters.

• Manage shipping and transportation in an efficient way to minimize the cost and time of delivery.

• Evaluate service providers (shipping lines, forwarders and insurance brokers).

• Prepare logistics reports and statistics.
